Who on this forum thinks GW Bush could have shoved through DHS, TSA and the rest of the Patriot Act in August 2001? Not me. It takes something like Pearl Harbor, 9/11 or 1/6 to get government to move off its fat ass and take action.

These guys are being charged for spraying him with bear spray, which is absolutely an assault and they should be charged. But it appears that the "he was beaten to death with a fire extinguisher" story is 100% false.

I am not defending these two, not at all in fact.. I am only pointing out the story of a cop beaten to death with a fire extinguisher on that particular day seems to have been wholly made up and is more fiction than news.

Well, if the coroner finally comes out with, "blunt force trauma" as the cause of death then yeah. At this time we have no apparent cause of death. Which will mean that nobody will be charged with his death.

If they come out with anaphylaxis as the cause of death these two might actually get charged in this man's death. But he still would not be beaten to death with a fire extinguisher as was originally reported on this site.

And yet within 20 years we have already seen rumblings about how DHS, TSA and the rest of the Patriot Act need to be scaled back, changed or outright eliminated. Time makes us forget all threats.

The original report of the fire extinguisher appears to have originated from the police themselves.

u only care when u think Trump people are reasonable...u have never ever posted about cops be assaulted this summer in Portland and many other cities

Never heard u say one thing about the 5 Dallas cops ambushed and killed..the killer stated that he wanted to kill white people, especially white police officers.

In a heartbeat. I don't know what the Feds know or what the strategy is to prevent another attack on the Capitol.

As SmarterThanYou kept posting about, they love people like Timothy McVeigh, they hate the government and it's only a matter of time before one or more of them commit mass murder....again. I strongly doubt that I'm the only one thinking that. Time will tell of the Republicans in Congress take action on it even if it's below the radar.

Agreed. Most of the RWNJs on JPP are Trumpanzees. They're also mostly harmless old fools who couldn't get away with stealing a knife in their retirement facility much less plan a mass murder with a WMD.
