There is no socialism. European nations are capitalistic. They just allocate more of their wealth to providing healthcare and safety nets. Many Americans think the richest country on the planet should provide some security to its citizenry. Of the top 30 industrial nations, only 1 does not supply healthcare. That is because corporations and the wealthy make the rules in America.
Socialism is a label the right uses to scare people. It works because Americans do not educate themselves enough to understand the truth.
Americans talk about socialism as they fill their Ikea shelves. Or drive their Volvos to work. Or buy Lego for their kids. The rightys will never wise up. They want the wealthy to rule them. Trump is granting that wish.

Good thing it's not Venezuelan socialism we want, and instead is Canadian socialism.

Last time I checked, Canada seemed to be just fine.

Who said they all weren't working? Because people are working but can't make it due to THEIR lack of skills/abilities doesn't mean others should be forced to fund things for them through higher taxes. It takes someone thinking he read something that wasn't written to be the type idiot you are.

Sweden and Norway, if you're claiming they're successful, are so because of capitalism and despite socialism.

Both are ethnically homogeneous. You know what that means. They don't have the kinds we have here dragging them down. If you support that type of society in the U.S., I'm with you 100%. Imagine how much better things would be.

You need to check better shit-for-brains. Last time I checked, a friend had to wait almost a year for a hip replacement. Something we get here in weeks.

Last time I looked, a friend had to wait three months to see a doctor for acid reflux. Something we get in a week.

Last time I looked, my friends found it cheaper to drive to NY from Ottawa to buy clothes at the outlet and saved money on their goods even with the drive.

Last time I looked, a gallon of gas costs about $3.77 a gallon while here it is $2.65 a gallon.

Last time I looked, it was 4 degrees C in Ottawa and 25 degrees C here.
