Yes, I believe using the government to confiscate another person's property is theft. Would you walk into your neighbor's house and take $100 out of their wallet and then go give to a poor person? You are of the belief that THE ONLY way to help the poor is to enlist the government and FORCE others to do it. I believe differently. I believe that we are ALL bound to help the poor, but that it should be a voluntary effort. That is the essence of freedom. In your world if someone doesn't want to help the poor, you believe they should be forced. While I believe they would be wrong in that decision, I have no right to force my conscience on them. Why do you? Do you think you are that morally superior that you can decide of others?

As households get smaller over time, even maintaining the current median household income over time is a pay increase, but they are at the highest level ever, meaning the poor downtrodden folks are making more money--the democrat's worst nightmare that trickle down is actually working to some extent is upon us so they are either intentionally misrepresenting the statistics or are too stupid to understand them to begin with.
