Most people that have been hospitalized or died from the flu did not take a flu vaccine. You can't fix stupid. They had an infant die yesterday and 15 year old a couple of days ago. And COVID stricks the old more than the you Flu typically is worse for kids so what exactly is your point?

Nowhere in that report are those figures offered, in fact, the summary conclusion on the flu is “Seasonal influenza activity in the United States remains low,” yet you are telling us 24,000 people have died from the flu this season. There is a word for that, but I think you already know it

And the biggest difference is that the flu has treatments, preventive measures, a vaccine, and existing immunity in some from prior experience, COVID has none of that, a five minute stop at the local drug store ends anxieties over the flu
