I thought it was Trumpian, a lot of pie I the sky. Ryan did a good job of keeping a straight face.
You don't "think" Snowflake", you erupt like the lying liberal asshole that you are.

I thought it was Trumpian, a lot of pie I the sky. Ryan did a good job of keeping a straight face.

I thought those women were lovely!
According to this guy, it's gonna be freakin' scorched earth! I wonder if he just meant he was gonna burn my coffee.
*SIGH*
They have set the bar so low for this office. Reading a lying, hateful, distorted speech, off a teleprompter, qualifies as a good speech as long as you read it well?
This is why we have Dump in office.
His delivery is terrible, no wonder he hates teleprompters, he sucks at it.
He didn't slob on himself while he read words that somebody else wrote for him that was full of lies and no specifics.
good speech
:0) Obviously you saw 'credit' where I saw nothing but pompous political ignorance.
It was perhaps the worst speech ever spoken by a so-called president with almost NO SPECIFICS ON ANYTHING HE SAID.
.. but to each his own.
I liked the democratic rebuttal by former Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear to the Trump's speech, didn't watch Trump's speech!
The speech was his usual doom and gloom hate fest.
Kill or imprison Blacks, Mexicans and Muslims.
Tax breaks for the rich.
Putting lipstick on a pig......He deserves no praise in any form or fashion.
He's a con who should not be in that position.
Any thoughts of your own, Kenneth?
Fake News!
So now you like CNN?
I can't for the life of me figure out why you racist whites hate the media so much?
They are on your team.
Fucking moron. This was TelePrompTer Trump reading a speech written by somebody else. Hardly his true nature. He showed his true nature on the campaign trail.

Any actor could stand up and read a teleprompter and smile at the right moments. It is interesting however that clearly Bannon did not have a hand in that speech. Who wrote it, hopefully they have a growing influence at the White House.
If KenDunce could think for himself, he wouldn't be the dumb, low information lying liberal dunce on steroids that he is.![]()
I said it was just a speech; though unlike some, I wasn't surprised by it.
It's all about results with me. That said, speeches can have political consequences. An immediate one is the market reacted positively. Which just adds to the perception that there is a growing confidence in the economy---and it has Donald Trump written all over it.
If his numbers start to climb it's going to become more problematic, politically, for democrats and establishment Rump-Bumpers in congress to oppose his agenda.
And if his agenda gets through, the results won't be far behind. If that happens, you're looking at 8 years of Trump unless democrats can come up with something besides The Resistance.
Not to compare the 2, because Obama was one of the best orators we've had in public life - but he was a teleprompter guy, too. I don't think that's a very good criticism.
Trump did a good job. No harm in acknowledging that.
It was just a speech - and it's kind of fun to see how important "just a speech" is to the right all of a sudden.
He finally gave a good speech. I was surprised by his ability to remain on topic and disciplined for almost an hour.
Notice they wrote very simple words for him.

I bet it was the first time he has ever read for an hour straight.
