Peterson Paglia and I think Murray also talk at some length about how we moderns have had it so good for so long because of tech marvels that our ancestors came up with that we have no concept of what life was like before, or what it would be like if things like a stable power grid went away.

I know right? APL is clearly here to try to stop good conversations from taking place, you try to start them, it never made a lot of sense to me, but I did see the claim made.

That the dodo's in Texas are illiterate to snow and ice readiness and don't even have deicing systems on wind turbines or anything in place to handle the issues. No power company workers to clear ice. No plows and salt ready to clear the roads so they can even get trucks out. The only secret is the lack of preparedness. They get what we get on a regular basis and have to shut down. I'd laugh if it wasn't so pitiful and cause of suffering. #LegionTrollFail.
