Encyclopedia Britannica for kids
to keep it simple for you
Democrats: The Founding Fathers put all these things in the way of democracy, like the Electoral College.
Also Democrats: We are a democracy! You can't prove otherwise you [insert 20 aimless insults here]!

The first democracies were in ancient Greece more than 2,000 years ago. Those did not last long, however. After that kings and other rulers had all the power in their countries. In about the 1200s, however, some rulers began to allow certain citizens to be part of the government.
By the 1600s and 1700s some people began to think that all people had certain rights. These included the right to participate in their government.

and the FOUNDERS OF THE USA changed what a democracy looked like in the face of the earth

The Pledge of Allegiance...just one small portion of it, to keep your impaired brain from having to read too much:
"...and to the republic [not democracy], for which it stands..."
you don't seem to be able to find any Dictionaries and or encylopedias to quote who agree with yopur fucked up view
why is that ?
because it a fucking republican assed meme

and its does not say constitution either
does that mean we don't have a constitution idiot

Back to mindlessly screaming, "DICTIONARIES!" over all the facts that prove you wrong.

CIA World Facebook:
United States:
Form of government- Constitutional Federal Republic
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pledge_of_Allegiance
The form of the pledge used today was largely devised by Francis Bellamy in 1892, and formally adopted by Congress as the pledge in 1942
the founders didn't write that huh idiot

"and to the Constitution, for which it stands..." wouldn't make sense. Our system of government is not a Constitution. It's a republic. Speaking of "idiots"

I wonder why
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pledge_of_Allegiance
The form of the pledge used today was largely devised by Francis Bellamy in 1892, and formally adopted by Congress as the pledge in 1942
the founders didn't write that huh idiot

So the Pledge incorrectly identifies what kind of government we are?![]()
Wikipedia:
‘What is the US government system called?
The United States is a federal republic in which the president, Congress and federal courts share powers reserved to the national government, according to its Constitution. The federal government shares sovereignty with the state governments.”
