What went badly in Afghanistan? Why the hype?

Can we get you on the record right now?

What will you say when the Taliban starts klong Americans trying to get to extraction personnel?
I guess you’ll have to wait till that happens. I think the last thing the Taliban wants is for the American forces to return in full force.

The last thing Biden wants is to send the American forces back in full force.

If I am the Taliban I am calculating Biden will accept many many American bodies before he even thinks of going back in.

Then they should stand up to the Taliban and fight for their freedoms.

They were. A residual Force of American and NATO Troops supporting an Afghan Force of 300,000. When the US Declared Defeat and started running to the last Airport, it was like yelling 'Fire' in a crowded theater. Everybody else started running to the last Airport too.

I wonder if we should Declare Defeat in South Korea and run to the last Airport? I wonder what kind of psychological effect that would have on the populace?

I don’t think the Taliban or you know Joe.

I hear the cries of free people about to be subjugated. No more 'Jobs'. No more 'Driving'. No more 'Liberty'. It will be happening to 50% of the population. This is usually stuff America stands for.

The US, where a President orders a mob to overthrow the government. Sorry, we have no moral authority.

Okay, the war went very badly, we lost after 20 years, loss of lives of heros, countless billions of dollars, and nothing to show for it...

But as far as the pull out, what was really that bad?
Everyone knew it would be messy...

1) Americans not charged.
2) No weapons given to the Taliban.
3) No Americans killed.
4) Everyone will be evacuated.

I saw a mob at the airport, and some idiots who climbed onto an airplane as it took off fell to their deaths (what did they expect), that's about as bad as it got.

What went so badly exactly?

WOW....YOU ARE REALLY GETTING SOME GOOD DRUGS...

Biden Team Makes Infuriating Admission about Americans Trapped Outside Kabul, Says They Don’t Have an Official Plan to Rescue Them

The specific number is unclear, but as many as 15,000 Americans remain outside Kabul and trapped in Afghanistan.

Biden’s disastrous decision-making has cost Afghan lives and seriously compromised the safety of thousands of Americans.

A former State Department contractor told Fox News that Taliban fighters have established checkpoints throughout Kabul and around the airport.

Other sources revealed the Taliban is beating people who are on the way to the airport.

Jake Sullivan, who is President Biden’s national security adviser, told reporters that the Taliban claims they are willing to provide “safe passage of civilians to the airport.”

The U.S. was going to hold the Taliban to that promise, he added.

Due to the Taliban’s long history of extreme violence and cruelty, especially to women and girls, many Americans understandably doubt the truthfulness of the Taliban’s response.

Now there’s worse news: “The U.S. has no plans to evacuate Americans in Afghanistan who are located outside Kabul,” Fox News reports.

~ Officials from various departments — including State and Defense — informed Senate staffers at a Tuesday morning briefing that they do not know of a way to get those Americans through Taliban checkpoints located outside Kabul, the location of the main airport, The Washington Post reported, citing two Senate aides.

Neither the State Department nor the Defense Department immediately responded to after-hours requests for comment from Fox News.

Meanwhile, U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton’s office set up a hotline for Americans — including those who are essentially “trapped behind Taliban lines,” The Military Times reported.

That "BAD ENOUGH" for ya???

I love wild stories and conjectures.

Ok so heres another one. Apparently flights out of afghanistan for 8 hours ++ have been delayed because the inital drop off oint of Qatar is almost full. Qatar only agreed to house 8k.

Knowing beforehand that Qatar would only house 8000. The US couldnt have negotiated with other places before this all happened?

Ok lets there was 0 preparatory work that could have been done. The world did not exist till Kabul fell on Aug 15. In that one week the US could not have lined up alternatives? They knew they more than 8000 Americans/Afghans.

But of course Biden says nothing could have been done better.

So you want 20 more years of war?

Biden assumes everyone who wants to go to the airport can make it because no one has told him otherwise.

Perfect. Get impeached.
