It is the absolute height of stupidity to believe that the founding fathers would guarantee that ONLY government troops would have the right to keep and bear arms after they had just fought their previous government troops that attempted to take their arms so they could oppress them.

every single founding father and representative at the convention ratified that every man could keep and bear their own arms to defend against tyranny of their new government.
