Just a sad philosophical comment about today's 50th anniversary of the moon landing. It happened at the tail end of one of the most turbulent decades in our history. Civil rights. Women's rights. War in Vietnam. Protests, bombings, marches, riots, burnings, assassinations. Absolutely. Otherwise, people wouldn't risk life and limb to get here, doncha think? People would be leaving instead.

The country is divided; how did that happen? Be honest.

Well, Trump portrays himself as a very rich man. Of course w/o anyone being able to see his tax returns, we don't know for sure. We do know about the multiple bankruptcies. He also started out on third base, with a rich daddy who gave him millions -- multiple times, to bail him out. Trump's a genius at one thing: He is good at selling himself with a line of b.s. that would make P.T. Barnum envious. He has conned bankers, financiers, investors, would-be Trump-U students, and voters.... and done it better than anyone else.

He wasn't "given" the money he has, he made it. The man is a financial, social and marketing genius. Plus, he has natural charisma and wit which resonates with people.
