Musk's money comes from one of three possible sources:
1) Consumers, also known as the people.
2) Retail investors, also known as the people.
3) Taxpayers, also known as the people.

It is very possible that Musk has stolen the people's power, but it is the people's power that was stolen, not Musk's.

but even miraculously reframing this argument to be about Elon musk fails.

Marie Antoinette never said, "Let them eat cake", because she never thought about the peasants. They were not important to her. She believed she lived in a world where there was no good ways to store food, and therefore no way to form huge armies for lengthy periods. That meant you needed a small army of well trained men, which is NOT peasants. Her mistake was that she actually lived in a world where large peasant armies could defeat her small well trained armies.

Since then, dictators have all been democratized. They realize they desperate need the people on their side. They invest heavily in propaganda, and surveillance of the people. They realize the people control the situation, so they try to control the people.
