Why aren’t democrats taking Trump to court over election interference?

I believe you are yearning for the old days when even though there were strong enemies during an election, pomp and circumstance ruled the day when it was over.

Now, everything is a conspiracy to be monetized with this moron. He's really tapped into the reality show crowd (he had them believing he's an actual billionaire) who will devour anything he rams down their collective throats.


As such, feeding this beast is not what Dems want to do until after the Ga. election is settled in Jan. They fear that any aggression will be sold as something far from the truth.

What are they supposed to do? The Trump people have filed court cases which is how the system works and Democrats have challenged those suits (and are winning). It is not illegal to challenge the election through legal proceedings.

Trump has moved from the courtroom to his office where he will deman.intimidate, and force republicans into becoming faithless electors, screw the p0pupar vote for him, or else. Obvioualy.

The good news is that the SC has already ruled against faithless electors. the SC is just another arm of the Republican party.

What I long for, and what many clamor for is a Democratic Party that actually stood for something. You know like back in the days of yore when it used to be known as the working man’s party, the party of the people. I volunteer with a gotv group, and it’s not just voters watching Trump, they’re also watching democrats and how we react to Trumps aggression and the aggression of his supporters. The impression that many have of democrats is weak and cowardly which is why Trump flourishes. I hear that every time we go out trying to recruit people on the importance of the upcoming Senate races.

I wouldn’t put too much stock in what dems May do after the runoff. The Democratic Party is seen as weak and old Even when democrats control everything, republicans still run all over them, like picking on a kid brother.

Why does Trump engender such support and loyalty? Because he at least has the illusion of strength and he stands up for his base. Democrats 0-2 on that scale. I’d never thought about this until a guy brought it to my attention this morning.He said that he bets that collectively democrats are older than republicans. When I think about it, I bet that’s true as well.

Well, perceptions differ across the nation. If that's your local perception, nothing can be done about it.

Giving trump ammunition to further incite his base before the runoff is not a smart political move.

Actually, we wound up with trump because Hillary simply wasn't perfect enough. Third party/Bernie voters knew that trump was dangerous, but they made a statement. Which is what elections are about. We all speak in our own ways.

Hillary was a terrible candidate. So was trump. Go figure.

Feeding trump's conspiracy theories is not going to give us the Senate. Clearly, according to this thread, nobody in Ga is going to vote for Dems anyway. So why rally trump's base to come out and vote? Is there a rush to go after him legally?

Don't forget...POTUS is above the law. So explain to me what the ploy suggested in the OP is going to accomplish before next February?

Glad you brought that up because truth be told more people voted against Donald Trump than they did for Joe Biden. Trump has been the best recruiter to the Democratic Party than anyone else in our history.
