I once read an interesting opinion on the moral majority and abortion. Formerly a big part of the repub platform was that they were the party that stressed the sanctity of marriage. Then so many of them were getting divorced, were caught having affairs, were found to be secret homosexuals that the GOP had to find another big issue to promote instead, and that was abortion.

Do you really believe if people were allowed to opt out of SS and could invest/save that money their way everyone would continue as part of it? Even you realize that SS is nothing more than a way for low end people to have something they would otherwise not have and at the expense of the rest of us.

BTW, I'll take what SS comes my way and hope by doing so it prevents someone that really needs more from getting it.

It is a historical fact that no nation can survive without secure borders. So democrats want to destroy this country. They want a one world government with them in control. It's all about power over others. That's all they care about.
