Why does the explosion in variants correlate with the vaccines?

It validates the OP premise that vaccines may be increasing the frequency of variants but I don’t like the second part. I’d just as soon be wrong all the way around.

THese so called vaccines are extremely narrowly focused on one small part of the spike protein... at Bret and Heather point out we are at great risk of the bug getting completely around the vaccines. I have decided that in all likelihood that this is only a matter of time. That the Pfizer substance does so poorly with the so-called Delta variant is evidence that I am correct.

I too hope that I am wrong...I am increasingly coming to the conclusion that the gain of function work on bat viruses that the science community and governments got behind has in the space of only a few years of operation has become a calamity.

Or immunity developed by for instance the long term use of ivermectin. We still dont know why the Africans have such immunity as they have had to date, in spite of us being told at the start that Africa would certainly be a disaster area because of relative poverty.

Lots of skinny people where most people pass long before they’d be eligible for long term care facilities. If they even have many. They spend a lot of times outdoors and not ‘quarantined’ together. Lots of reasons Africa would ‘get a pass’ in a relative sense.

As with so much related to COVID we dont know...the experts claim that they have not been able to figure it out......keeping in mind that the whole point of having experts is so that we will have the information we need to have to keep civilization and individuals alive.

"How can we just let people die?" I saw an emergency doc say a few months back, convinced that power is not even trying on the treatment side.

Never thought I’d see the day when pharmacists would be required to withhold common, well established drugs, like hydro chloroquine and Ivermectin from people. Never thought I’d see a lot of what I’ve seen the past year and half.
