Yes, I’d say you have to look in the right areas. I’ve seen some Trump 2020 stickers (actually have been give one), some Trump 2020 flags, a few other campaign things but I’ve seen precious few red Trump hats. They cost money. But I will tell you a story...
At the end of May this year a group of about 25 National Honor Society students made a trip to Boston and then to New York. My son was one of them. His friend had a MAGA hat that he wore the whole trip, except to the more formal venues. On three occasions the kid received flak from individuals for wearing the hat. I really think the few pro-Trump people in more urban areas are avoiding confrontation.
I’m curious to see if racism and socialism are winning campaign strategies ... I mean enough to sway the balance of power. I posted the Wile E. Coyote meme yesterday. That is the conversation I hear every morning that I have coffee at our local diner. For a while I heard some discussion about Tariffs but than has subsided and we’re back to “the Democrats keep fishing hoping they’ll get a bite” type of talk. This from people of whom most who are democrats themselves.
The Trump 2020 sticker is on a table in my house. I won’t be displaying it publicly as I cannot lend such support to a man of Trump’s makeup. It does make for a good conversation piece.
