Brad opened with an Instagram clip from the Laguna Beach Democrat Club about a Republican pastor in Ojai accused of molesting kids, then titled the thread “Why is it so often a MAGA?” Diogenes asked the obvious follow-up and later floated the Epstein comparison.


Walt’s reply is the expected move: treat “Epstein was a Democrat” as the claim that needs to be neutralized, then immediately attached Trump and Kennedy as co-expellees so the whole thing becomes a both-sides wash.


There is no record of Jeffrey Epstein being formally expelled from the Democrat Party.

  • Through the 1990s and early 2000s he gave far more to Democrats than Republicans (OpenSecrets and contemporaneous reporting put it in the $139k–$147k Democrat vs. ~$18k Republican range). Recipients included the DNC, DSCC, Schumer, Dodd, Kerry, Gephardt, etc.
  • Giving dropped sharply once the Florida investigation began (~2005–2006). Some campaigns later returned money; the DNC sat on older donations.
  • He still received invitations and solicitations from Democrat fundraisers and members of Congress after the 2008 conviction.
  • Socially he moved in both Clinton and Trump circles for years; the well-known falling-out with Trump is usually dated to a 2004 Palm Beach real-estate dispute, not a party purge.

So “kicked out of the Democratic Party, as was his good friends trump, and Kennedy” is not a factual statement.

It is a rhetorical grouping: take the donor history that is inconvenient for one side, add the two highest-profile names that are inconvenient for the other, and declare everyone equally ejected. That is why it reads salty. The original post was trying to make a pattern out of one accused pastor; Diogenes pointed at the much larger, documented Epstein network; Walt answered with a slogan instead of numbers.

Wrong Way Wally does not have that appellation for nothing.

He was once right in 1966 when he stated that he was wrong.
