Why Is Mitch McConnell So Afraid of John Bolton? The Senate must hear his testimony..

Hello Flash,

Good. Then let us hear from him. Most Americans want to hear from the key witnesses. A sham trail will not settle anything.

No. He needs to be sworn in. America deserves a real trial.

Clinton took the stand.

We want to hear from Trump!

So, we want to hear from the accuser- the whistleblower.

The Senate runs the show now.

The House Democrats can sit down snd be quiet.

Send the Articles...what is Nervous Nancy afraid of!

how do you or her know what he was going to testify to?

he can write it in a book for money but wont testify for his nation?

silly demycunt......he offered to testify, Cinnibar thinks he knows what he's going to testify to, Nancy probably did too, which is why she didn't accept his offer when he also said he would testify in the House......

Hello Darth,

But they make no sense lol.

What happened to the hurry?

It is interesting that you are now concerned with the hurry. It is a complete flip flop from the protestations made during the proceedings that it was moving along too quickly. The positions on the issue of haste have now been reversed.

But...but...but Nervous Nancy said it was urgent, national security involved.

Not so much now.

Hello Southern Chicken,

So, we want to hear from the accuser- the whistleblower.

If that could be arranged in a way which would protect that individual's identity then perhaps that might be agreeable. It should be understandable that many wish ill will towards that individual, so revealing their identity would place them in great mortal danger. Also, most of the evidence which was identified by the WB has been supported, repeated, corroborated by others. The WB is not needed to make the case against the President. Also, it is unlikely that the WB will offer any information in defense of the President.

The President is free to offer any key witnesses with direct information about the case which may dispute any of the charges made. Let us hear from Giuliani or Mulvaney, for instance. Trump could testify himself, as Clinton did in his own impeachment. Is Trump afraid to come forward and be sworn in? That does not speak highly of innocence. That leads us to suspect he is guilty. Why not come forward and tell his side, under oath? He seems to be extremely willing to explain his reasoning via twitter as long as he is not sworn in... Do Republicans only wish to hear from the President if he is not sworn to tell the truth?

A WB in any case must be protected from retribution or else no one with inside knowledge will ever report any wrong doing ever again. That is why we have WB protections.

1. You claim he's guilty, you have enough evidence to prove it.
2. You claim you need more evidence to prove he's guilty.

Which is it? :dunno:

And Why wouldn't Naziy wait for the court's decision on the subpoena?

The House "claimed" that there was enough evidence to impeach Trump...

...and that is what the House did. THEY IMPEACHED HIM.

That is their function.

The function of the Senate is to try him...and they should obtain all the testimony and evidence they can.

Try to get that right, Dog. It is not all that difficult.

Even if his testimony supported Trump's version of events?

YES!

There is no guarantee about what Bolton's testimony will be. It may be more damaging to the president's position...or it may be exculpatory.

But it should be heard.

Why is the president so anxious that it not be heard?

No impeachment until the Articles are at the Senate...per the Democrats’ own witness, Professor Feldman

Send the Articles, what is Nervous Nancy afraid of?

That’s one theory.

Another is since Nancy *didn't know* what Bolton was going to say it was risky putting him under oath. Keep in mind the whole objective was to slap the label ‘impeached’ on Trump before Christmas.

And if Nancy thought she had the votes without Bolton—why take the risk of hearing him when you aren’t sure which side he’ll come down on?

There may be bad blood between Trump and Bolton, but by no means, does that mean he would be on board with the House Democrats shenanigans.
