Would America Be Better Off with More Religion?

The Diamond Rule, as stated by Jesus in Matthew 22:21 is: "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s", for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

the theory is secular power added that.

jesus would have never sucked caesars dick the way you suck bebes.

Gravity, magnetism, electrical resistivity are straight out of classical physics. Seismic data, acoustic impedance, and nuclear, sonic, and electrical resistivity data used in borehole geophysics are straight out of upper division geophysics classes.
ftfy. Yes, that is it in a nutshell.

You just pivoted dishonestly, implying that you said something that you didn't. You described geophysicists as data gatherers, and you identified the types of data.

This is what you wrote:

"Geophysicists use a variety of remote sensing, physical measurement and data to map the Earth's subsurface and study its physical properties. The primary types of data used include:

Seismic Data:
Acoustic data generated and recorded to image subsurface geological structures, faults, and layers. This includes reflection and refraction data, as well as borehole seismic.

Potential Fields: High-resolution measurements of the Earth's gravity and magnetic fields, which help identify different rock types, ancient faults, and large-scale crustal structures.

Electromagnetic (EM) & Resistivity Data: Measurements of the Earth's electrical conductivity used to map soil properties, find groundwatet, and detect metallic ores.

Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR): High-frequency radio waves used to create shallow, high-resolution images of the subsurface, often for environmental monitoring or locating buried utilities.

Borehole Geophysical Logs: Continuous, in-situ measurements taken directly down a drilled well (using tools like sonic, nuclear, and electrical probes) to evaluate rock and fluid properties.

Ergo, you think data is science for some reason. You obviously haven't the vaguest clue what science is. One has to wonder if you ever went to school. How do you reach adulthood and still think data is science? Do you also think that lab coats are science?

HINT FOR CYPRESS: Data is not science and data gatherers are not scientists.

cypress brain is a mass of constantly short circuiting scar tissue.

like someone poured jelly on the motherboard.

It depends upon both the religion and how it’s used. It’s akin to sex; it’s nobody’s business but busybodies make it their business if they disagree with one’s choices. People who wish to harm or force others to their own points of view are not good people.

More importantly, I consider a person who embraces their spiritual side to be equally as important as them embracing their physical and mental sides. People who ignore one or some tend to be Abbie Normals.

FWIW, government should have no business in limiting a person’s spiritual beliefs or personal life as long as they are not violating the rights and welllbeing of others.

At the risk of sounding like the old person that I am, I think it was better in "the old days" when people kept their sex lives, their income, and their religions to themselves.

Sidebar: You know who is responsible for freedom of religion and separation of church and state?

It wasn't the revolutionary Patriots. They weren't fighting for freedom of religion. In all the reasons the declaration of independence lists as causes for independence, there isn't anything about freedom of religion.

It was the Baptists more than anyone else who insisted on freedom of religion and separation of church and state. Because they didn't like being treated as second class citizens in the colonies which had State churches.

Interesting. How things have changed. Now they are doing just the opposite -- trying to put the 10 Commandments in government buildings, force the teaching of creationism in public school science classes, restore prayer in public schools, and force the rest of us to shun LGBTQ people and jail women sluts who have abortions.

Very true.

Even today though I think the Methodists, Catholics, Jews, and nondenominational evangelicals would get upset if Baptism was made the state religion and we had to pay taxes to support the Baptist state church.

It's sound advice. Social media has broken that barrier by encouraging people to become "influencers".

MAGAts are too stupid to understand the concept of "setting a precedent". Set the precedent of the majority population dictating a state or national religion and they risk having Catholicism or Islam becoming the state or national religion at some point in the future.

Even Protestantism is so diverse, which Protestant denomination would you make the state religion? There's almost more difference between Quakers and Pentecostals as there is between Orthodox Jews and Reform Jews.

No matter what flavor of religion someone is, it's likely that they'd be upset if someone else's religion was made the state one.

I think we should tax churches though. They use the same infrastructure we all enjoy, they meddle in politics, and they -- some of them -- are richer than Croesus.
