retards like christie (who obviously lied about watching the speech) called it pessemistic. Funny how a "pessamestic" speech got such HIGH approval numbers. Even 43% of democrats thought it was good. If any of you happen to notice tomorrow/today nearly all jpp liberal having a reee-fest over it, let that illustrate to you how far outside the mainstream jpp liberals are.

Trump did a great speech, and you guys are just gonna have to deal with it

Please don't be stupid enough to think a poll this early means shit. Although shit is apt, because it's pulled from peoples asses. Who the hell are they polling anyway, and how? What they have a little group of people with dials watching it? What a waste of time.

Cry harder little one; because Trump bitch slapped the DNC, during his speech, and they had to sit there and take it. :D

:truestory:

Did he say how his mission to unite America is coming along?
If Americans choose to remain divided and continue to cling to the obama way, there's really nothing that the president can do about that.
It's up to the people if they want America to be United again...

meaning for what? I implied no meaning beyond what I said in my OP, that the SOTU was a hit.

Could you please link to that, I'm not finding it.

sorry I'm retarded. The link I got for twitter had pbs in it but I didn't realize that's just their generic imagehost url. I believe it's CBS instead according to this tweet: https://twitter.com/SalvantoCBS/status/958556587626516480

Polls like these are normally pretty pointless, but one this soon is laughable. People boasting about stuff like this makes my intellectual integrity want to figuratively put a gun in it's mouth.

How pathetic are people going to get?:bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang::bang:

Democrats should be wary of those independent numbers.

I saw most of it and thought it was pretty good. Trump has made enough good speeches there’s no reason anyone should be surprised about last night. But I’d like to see Trump take a lesson from last night because he needs it the most.

It needs to dawn on him how much easier things would be for Trump, if Trump would stay out of the way of Trump’s message. The Trump-deranged are a lost cause—Trump will never get them on board. Independent voters are another matter and Never Trump Republicans can become Maybe I Was Wrong About Trump Republicans—-but that’s all up to Trump.

Last night proved he has the message, Trump just needs to stay the hell out of his own way.

doesn't seem pointless to me. getting 43% of democrats that watched the speech in this partisan environment is huge. keep being salty. :thing1:

Every leftist media critic to respond to the address are predicting that Douchebag Donald will quickly get back to his normal tone and rhetoric that run contrary to that of his speech. My Never Trump critics are mostly the same way, except that they liked the speech the same as I did.

And don't forget, we may not like Trump, but we do like electing Republicans to Congress, so, we won't be sitting out this November.

Did anyone really believe the NeverTrumpers and whack job libtards when they said they wouldn't watch? Of course not.

I can imagine that libtards like KKKhristiefan felt pessimistic after watching it because they know they cannot Stump the Trump.

I watched Claire and Frank Underwood on Morning Joe this morning and they were struggling so badly to criticize his speech that it was almost comical

Here is the thing. They all know that Trump has boxed the democrat party into a corner on immigration. He has laid out a plan, he has seriously compromised. He is offering citizenship to the Dreamers. All he wants in exchange is funding for his wall, and end to chain migration, an end to the visa lottery and merit based legal immigration.

Now, I am about as much of a hardliner as there is on immigration, but I would take that deal if the last three were meaningful and not a fuckjob like happened with Reagan. That is the part of this conversation people are missing. Many of us remember the deal Reagan did on amnesty and they got the first part, but never did the second part. So we want to be assured that we don't get fucked again. That is why we are saying security first.

But, now Shutdown Schumer doesn't know what to do. If he deals at all with Trump he pisses off his hard core base which he needs to try to win back the House in November. If he walks away from this deal, he loses the solid middle of this country that agree with Trump on immigration.

The lefties don't realize it (do they ever), but they are severely out of step with the rest of America on immigration. All of their demagoguing and screaming of racist and using virtue signalers like Cawacko and Threedee aren't going to help.

Right now the democrat party is being seen as putting the needs and wants of lawbreakers over that of the American citizen and it just isn't going to play.

Every day I watch this all play out, I am more and more convinced that Donald Trump was the man for our time to lead this country.

19% over obama's final SOTU speech...
And viewship has changed since obama gave his first speech. Many people DVR things now to watch later.
Great speech...
