Emotional tosh, he is restoring the agency back to its brief. It was never expected to be an adjunct to the likes of Greenpeace and the Sierra Club. Gina McCarthy was an appalling administrator who politicised the EPA to an extent never seen previously.

McCarthy didn't do anything Obama didn't want done..( i'm sure you know)

Wait a minute anyway. Havana, you're a poster of England, you're opinion has no grounds. Focus on your countries dealing in the environment. This might as well be trolling, which may well be your intent.
 
Protecting the environment is over.

The war itself is over - the polluters won. I'll put some of this on the left; they made the environmental cause about AGW, which is too hard to prove and turned too many people against basic protections.

There isn't much turning back now. Trump has completely dismantled regulations & basic/common sense protections in just a year, and he has at least 3 more, possibly 7. It will take decades to repair what he's doing, and we don't really have decades.

People are essentially short-sighted and stupid. We only have one planet, and its resources are finite. The arrogance about it is sometimes astounding to me.
