NRA Partners Dumping Murder Inc.

No.. They are going after Delta over the Parkland school shooting and Delta disconnecting from the NRA.

So wait a second. I thought that the RW creed was for govt. to stay out of businesses' business. But now it's okay? Since when can the govt. force one corporation to give another one a discount?

Okay, let's just say then that your lack of empathy and compassion are.... educational. It's easy to say that all kids should have loving and involved parenting so that when they are 12 years old, they aren't going to the free clinic looking for b.c. because they're not getting the love and affection all humans need from their family. The reality, which you mentioned, is that all kids do not have that at home. I'm grateful for clinics like yours and for workers like you who staff them, who can at least try to provide some educational and products too to keep them from a disastrous early parenthood. We are not mentally nor physically mature enough at that age to have a healthy birth. Let alone the financial aspects of that.
Better off having this discussion with your birds.

Look at how successful abstinence only programming works. Kids look for loopholes. Anal sex isn't really sex. Palin's spawn can't stop getting knocked up.

What families like Stretch don't understand, is that sexual activity is inherent in every living animal. Otherwise, they'd be extinct. Trying to force some fantasy about sin on kids doesn't prepare them for adolescence.

It teaches them to lie.

And as I pointed out, our state (Missouri back then) did not offer such services at all. Only immunizations (for children), head lice treatment, vision/hearing screens, and very basic growth screens/physicals for kids. In addition, not every county had a health dept. that offered even these few things; the rural one we lived in when my kids were in h.s. did not. For their well-woman check ups we drove 25 miles to another county to the PP clinic.
Yes...in an earlier post, I pointed out that her anecdotes don't offer anything of value when discussing other regions. Further, I offered her the specific services available at the clinic she worked at, noting that they were nowhere near the scope of what most women require.

And...in states that refused Medicaid expansion, those clinics are hard to find.

She offers O'Keefe's work product as evidence.

SMH
Please...you do the research for me, if you feel that I provided flawed work as evidence.
This should give you a start.....From the PP site:
https://www.plannedparenthood.org/learn/pregnancy/prenatal-care
Please do find me a PP clinic that offers this kind of quality comprehensive prenatal care. I'd like to know where they are.
(I'll be stopping by our local clinic this morning to see if they offer this kind of comprehensive care from the initial visit until the baby is born. Or have in the past. They should be happy to answer my questions, considering I not only fund them with my taxes, but with generous donations...I think it's three now;)

Update: People boycotting Florida during Spring Break: 0
Value of FedEx rises by over $640,000,000 yesterday.

So much for the boycott...lol

Bingo. Unfortunately some (and Stretch appears to be among them) believe that simply offering sexual information, counseling, and birth control is somehow giving kids permission to just do it. It's interesting to me that the kids I have known (including my own) who were given nonjudgmental information, and who were allowed to choose if and when they wanted that intimacy with someone, chose to wait it out.

Yep, Missouri being one of them. Low income ppl living in STL or KC were better off -- they had access to more than one free or low-cost public clinic. But out in the farther 'burbs and in rural areas, no such luck. As I told her, when my daughters were of age to need GYN visits, we had to drive 25 miles to the PP in the county to our south. It's also the same county whose public health dept. offered only a few services for kids, and which link I posted. If there had been no PP in that county we would have had to drive into the city, a 75-mile-one-way trip. Bulletproof car not included.

All the posts, the thread itself, the members, the links, her paranoia... everything is still there! And views are growing as well. Because it's all about Toxic. lol

Here ya go, a directory to free health clinics in the entire country, tack it up on your fridge. Everybody happy now? :palm:

Update, directly from our local PP office about half an hour ago....the one closest to me, only offers abortions. Nothing else. The other, once pregnancy is confirmed, will give you basic advice and literature, the first month of prenatal vitamins and then refer you to a variety of other options. Not PP. That's it.
Feel free to call and confirm that info.
I'm going to bet that just about anyone you call, services will be the same. But let me know if you find one with that quality care.

Did you visit as you said,or called a clerk?

Feel free to call and confirm what I posted. The website information is not correct, btw. I pointed that out to them.

This is the 21st century. Trying to convince kids that God sees everything you do, and will sit in judgement of you, just doesn't work.

Especially when kids want to know why God lets mass murders at churches happen.

Silly Top. Did you ask them what services they provided before funding was slashed?
