That's exactly why. The young man openly discussed his rejection letters, and the so-called adult talking head attacked him over them. She didn't attack just his POV -- she went after him on a personal level. It reminds me very much of a certain person here who has openly discussed his struggle with mental issues, only to have the Toxic Twats attack him for those same issues. Must be a conservative thing. They have no shame.

It was all those years emptying their garbage,cleaning their toilets,at her job at the school!Wishing she was the one collecting money from Trump after a meaningless sex assault,just wasn't in the cards:-(

Oh I am not defending what Laura did, and that was uncalled for. But at the same time I see it as the kid trying to profit off the tragedy by acting like a victim. How many other Parkland students have been rejected by a college? Also I haven't seen the reasons for his rejection. There could be a number of reasons why he wasn't accepted and I am positive being anti-gun wasn't one of them.

If you disagree with them, go after their IDEAS. Personal attacks are incredibly weak, and shouldn't be defended by either side.

Ingraham embarrassed herself by trying to ridicule this kid and go after him personally - instead of going after his ideas. I'm thrilled to see advertisers making a smart business decision and backing out of her show.
 
Ingraham's apology was lame, as well - trying to provide cover for herself on the right by invoking "Holy Week." Just apologize if you think you did the wrong thing (which you did).

She & you can criticize his views ALL DAY LONG. But personal attacks, against a kid who saw friends die in a horrific school shooting?

Advertisers Ditch Laura Ingraham After She Mocks Parkland Activist

Multiple companies say they're pulling their advertisements from conservative Fox News host Laura Ingraham's show after she sent a tweet mocking Parkland shooting survivor and gun-control activist David Hogg.

Nestle US, Hulu and Nutrish confirmed on Twitter that they are removing advertising from Ingraham's show. Media reports say TripAdvisor, Expedia, Wayfair and Johnson & Johnson are pulling their support as well.

Oh I agree with you. Personal attacks by celebs on either side is uncalled for.

If the kid hadn't tried to use being one of the survivors for his personal gain I highly doubt this story would have gotten any attention. But the kid used the anti-gun soap box and it became a national issue. Now he should be fair game to question his motives. What has not been reported is that he has been accepted by 3 other colleges.
