Shooting at Youtube HQ

I worked at 2 jobs where all I had to do was walk straight through a metal detector upon entering. One of those jobs was from 2000>20007 and the other one was from 2008>2012. Not a big deal.

I can't imagine they are going to start doing that across the Silicon Valley, not really the image they want to portray here. Plus I would assume you'd have to have security sitting there? No two or three story building like these is going to want to pony up for that.

Haha, damn!! I guess the question must be asked, did you score? Or were you chasing someone down?

Did they rename the quad after you?!?!

I did and no they did not name the quad after me. However, I was talking to someone 6 years younger than me who went to the same school who asked out of the blue, "Did you go there when that kid went through the classroom window playing football? I heard there was blood everywhere." It was like scoring again. :clink:

Well, that's their choice then.

These buildings were in the market I worked years ago and fwiw I never heard one owner ever talk about putting a metal detector in their building. Fortunately what happened today is just such a rare occurrence. (Now it if becomes more regular then maybe it will change)

Legend!

I've been in that building and the ones around it multiple times. It would be bad for business putting in metal detectors. No one wants to work in that type of environment.
650,000,000 businesses don't have metal detectors and no one was shot in them today......no need to get carried away because some guy dated an out of control woman......

All they said about 5 minutes ago is that the male target 36 yrs old and still in critical condition and the female shooter used a handgun with which she used to shoot herself.

It was a domestic squabble with guns available. So lots more were in danger.

Looks like it was a muslime female so we won’t be treated to Mika and Joe Underwood ranting about guns today

Tell David “camera” Hogg to stay in his trailer

If it were an AR-15 many more would have died so I am happy it was not an assault rifle.

Wrong! Sooo wrong.

1. AR would have been found in her car when the cops checked up on her before the shooting.
2. Vatech shooter had the most fatalities and he used a pair of hand guns.
