B.S. that an increased minimum wage will bring more automation? Ok.
So once again absolutely nothing about economic growth. You believe the economy is a zero-sum game.
How about you learn that economic growth, and standard of living, can increase while inequality does as well. Your obsession with inequality is like Trump's with trade imbalances. You can't see the forest for the trees. You don't understand the big picture.
Most Americans wouldn't know where Ulster was if you drove them there...but yes.
You understand nothing but how to use meaningless cliches. You again bring nothing.
Trump Tax Plan: 80 Percent of Economic Gains Will End Up Going to Foreigners, CBO Says

MAGA
It says nearly 1/3rd of the U.S. stock market is owned by foreign investors. Should we stop foreigners from investing?
One third equals 80 percent?
More importantly than that, what does it say about your party when, on the heels of the Great Republican Recsssion, their most important priority, the one thing they were willing to fight for, was a tax bill that helped Americans who did not really need the help, and helped foreigners more than Americans?
Oh, and on top of that, caused a trillion dollar deficit within three years of being passed.
There is no amount of word salad, no strenuous attempts at word smithing, no nuance or convoluted explanations that can ever put lipstick on this Pig of a Republican tax bill.
The main reason is that neither party has the political will to curb spending on popular programs like defense and Medicare/Medicaid.
Agreed. For me the issue is that supply side tax cuts, without spending cuts, are the main drivers for debt and economic inequality.
The numbers don't lie. Only libs do.

It's just not true. Tax cuts have ALWAYS corresponded with increased revenue. Look up the numbers, it is utterly irrefutable.
If you continue to spend more than you take in, deficits result. But that's a separate issue.
For your convenience.

I'm not saying this well but if we're listing off victim groups as cypress did then Native Americans are number one. So I don't think you need to be quiet at all. Here's chris rock discussing it

I'm proud Scotts-Irish and descendant of a horse thief (aka American Royalty).
Start with increasing minimum wage. Then increase the taxes on the wealthy and money managers . Use part of that on the debt and increase infrastructure spending. Higher growth and job creation result. Money to the poor and middle class will increase demand. that is what creates hiring and expansion.
It says nearly 1/3rd of the U.S. stock market is owned by foreign investors. Should we stop foreigners from investing?
Increasing minimum wage = more automation and more unemployment
So the fact that the top 20% of Americans pay 87% of personal income taxes isn't enough. We need it go even higher? And that's going to create job growth?
So basically your vision of growth is just more income redistribution - nothing to do with expansion of the private sector
That too LOLThe main reason is that neither party has the political will to raise taxes on the rich, who own both parties.
Not necessarily. If the economy is strong then reduced spending and paying down public debt won’t necessarily hurt the economy just as when the economy is in decline deficit spending helps the economy grow.Spending cuts would negatively impact the economy.
Don’t. Chase family documentation. Those DNA tests are not the most accurate. The whitest guy I know took one and it came back that he was 75% Native American. One side of the family is Welsh and German (filtering through England/Scotland). Not sure about the other side. I know my grandfather was a WWI vet, but I suspect at least some of that side was French-Canadian. I need to take one of those DNA tests someday.
