Post is rather insulting to followers of Christ. His vernacular tells that tale enough. I'm sure he knows as well as I, that the c word he used would have everyone giving you a stink eye if you said it in church.

Not sure whether to thank or groan this post. Some reality and some delusion. Someone who breaks into your home intending you harm deserves to be shot. I support the death penalty as the only sure means of removing threats to society, but I do think that it should be more carefully used, though used with fewer delays.

Nothing about faith or belief. So, what part of the Bible do you choose to believe.

Killing another person is an act of extreme heresy, and hate. There is no difference in guilt from them killing someone, and them being killed in return. People that feel otherwise are only kidding themselves. An eye for an eye, will leave everyone blind. Only when no options are available is killing ever acceptable, even in self defense. I won't call it right, it's just acceptable, because there is no other option.

Why don't you define "simple gun owners" and gun nuts"? What's the difference?
Speaking for myself, as one of my hobbies, I enjoy hunting and target shooting. Am I a "simple gun owner" or a "gun nut?
