Biblical prophecy claims the Rapture is coming April 23, numerologist says

I have a Masters in Theology........you?....how about you link us to "Most scholars think that was added to Paul's writings later because the writing is so different.".......show us your edjumaction......

What a useless fucking degree. Does it get you a few steps closer to the Pearly Gates?

no fucking way.......link it or lose......
I am not going to research something I remember because you’re a liar. I remember the conversation vividly because I couldn’t believe as a person with a supposed degree that you were arguing with me about it. Besides, advanced searches aren’t that reliable and you posts so often it won’t be in your recent posts. It could have also been purged with the system glitch, furthermore, I don’t feel the need to prove anything to a hack like you. I don’t respect you enough to waste my time doing the research.

You from TN or Texas?
I wouldn’t bother with him too much, you will find it a waste of your time and a brain drain.
He’s a joke. He accuses me of being the liar but I don’t need to lie, he proves his idiocy here on a regular basis.

Christians and non-believers you have about 11 days to get your affairs in order, like accepting Jesus Christ as your personal lord and savior for one? I'm hoping I can get into The Elysian Fields myself, if Lord Zeus deems me worthy?!!

Now, WHAT THE BIBLE ACTUALLY SAYS ABOUT THE RAPTURE. "Nothing". There is no mention of Rapture anywhere in the Bible. ;)

there are a couple of "was not" events for a couple/ few people: http://biblehub.com/kjv/genesis/5.htm http://biblehub.com/kjv/2_kings/2.htm. ... Moses ?. ... Noah and his family ? Philip.. .... http://biblehub.com/kjv/acts/8.htm. The Lord Jesus Christ Himself seems to have toyed with the damned by translating away Himself... http://biblehub.com/kjv/luke/4.htm. in this chapter, The Lord [Yeshua Ha Meshiach/ Jesus] translates in "the power of The Spirit" more than once. read it. it is good.

I still do not see the word RAPTURE anywhere.....nor the doctrine that when the Lord Comes Back He will ever sit foot on the earth again. What the scriptures do declare is documented very clear with no ambiguity at all. There will be no earth remaining, it will be consumed in FIRE.

The Rapture as described by these con artists taking advantage of the uninformed and uneducated has the Lord coming back to many times. According to charlatans such as Hal Lindsey..etc., they have the Lord coming back the 1st time to take the righteous away and bring the rest of the world into some 7 year tribulation period, then they have the Lord coming again to reign for a literal 1000 years on earth.

But....the Bible actually tells us, "......He comes to execute judgment upon all....." -- Jude 14:15.

As far as "predicting" the exact date based upon a reading of the stars......that would count as some type of Paganism. Not even Jesus knows the date when God will decide to end it all and bring the final judgment (Matthew 24:36).

The Apostle tells us, "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens and the earth pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, THE EARTH AND ALL ITS WORKS THAT ARE THEREIN WILL BE BURNED UP............." 2 Peter 3:10......

For the Lord to come back and literally RULE on earth (instead of spiritually from heaven on the right hand of God).......He would have to contradict a curse that Father God placed the Christ's physical lineage. (Jer. 22:24-30) Jesus' lineage to David went directly through this Cursed King Coniah. God does not lie. The only way that Jesus could reign on David's Throne would be in a spiritual manner. He has been sitting on the Throne of David for over 2000 years now, ruling His Church/Kingdom on earth, its called the Christian Nation.....THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

The Greek word from this term "rapture" appears in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, translated "caught up". The Latin translation of this verse used the word rapturo. The Greek word it translates is harpazo, which means to snatch or take away. Elsewhere it is used to describe how the Spirit caught up Philip near Gaza and brought him to Caesarea (Acts 8:39) and to describe Paul’s experience of being caught up into the third heaven (2 Cor. 12:2-4). Thus there can be no doubt that the word is used in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 to indicate the actual removal of people from earth to heaven.

And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died. We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. So encourage each other with these words.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies.
1 Corinthians 15:51-53

God's message to the Church at Philadelphia...
Because you have kept My command to endure with patience, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
Rev. 3:10

There is no mention of the church in the prophetic description of the great tribulation period. The church is mentioned 16 times in Revelation chapters 1-3. But, it is not mentioned once in chapters 4-22 from the great tribulation through the battle of Armageddon and the 1000-year reign of Christ on Earth.

But, it is not mentioned once in chapters 4-22 from the great tribulation through the battle of Armageddon and the 1000-year reign of Christ on Earth.

So you belong so some CULT and ignore scripture that contradicts such nonsense? Rev. clearly declares "....things to SHORTLY take place". Rev. 1:1-3. Also note that the Book of Rev. is "signified"....meaning not LITERAL BUT SYMBOLIC in nature.

There is no mention of 7 years of tribulation or Rapture anywhere in the Bible. There is no prophecy anywhere that has Jesus literally reigning on the earth but the Christ Himself declared, "My kingdom is not of this world........" -- John 18:36. But He has been reigning at the right hand of the Father...." in the last days" just as declared in the Book of Acts....for over 2000 years already. Read Acts 2:14-21. The apostle Peter declares THE LAST DAYS are upon them.....during the time he was addressing the crowd, ".....BUT THIS IS WHAT WAS SPOKEN OF BY THE PROPHET JOEL (quoting from Old Scripture prophecy declaring that it was being fulfilled THEN).....AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS IN THE LAST DAYS......."

Now consider the scriptures you quoted as if it confirms an event that is never mentioned in the Bible....THE RAPTURE. 1 Thess. would be in direct contradiction of 2 Thess. 1:6-10. In 2 Thess. Paul mentions 2 distinct groups of people. The 1st is a group that has been troubled and persecuted for being Christians. The next group consists of those who do not know God and have not obeyed the gospel of Christ. Of these 2 groups to 1 He will give rest but to the other punishment. And both judgements happen "ON THAT DAY". What day? The final judgment, just as mentioned in Matthew.

Your supposed RAPTURE does not have the righteous and unrighteous being judged at the same time....according to you, there will 1000 years between judgments....2 judgments. But throughout the scriptures there is only 1 second coming and that judgement is unknown by everyone (even The Christ)...only the Father knows (Matthew 24:36) Matthew 25 has all the nations of the earth...the righteous and the unrighteous being judged at one time....not 1000 years apart. (Matt. 25:31-46).

And when the end comes it will be like a thief in the night, there will not be 1 or 2 week warning, the earth will suddenly be consumed in fire (2 Peter 3:10.....as the Christ Meets the righteous in the SKY in the clouds just as mentioned in symbolic text in Rev. 1:7....not on earth. Just as declared in your other supposed confirming passage 1 Cor. 15.

Next study that passage. Consider Vs. 53 of 1 Cor. 15......IMMORALITY WILL BEGIN AT THE 2ND COMING....next Vs. 54, DEATH WILL BE DEFEATED...."SWALLODED UP IN VICTORY". How can there be a literal 1000 year reign if DEATH is defeated and swallowed up in victory at the time of your supposed RATURE?

:palm: What of the curse placed upon the physical lineage of Jesus? Just ignore God's word and have Jesus literally sitting on the throne of David right in the location where the nation of Biblical Israel existed?
