Biblical prophecy claims the Rapture is coming April 23, numerologist says

Christians and non-believers you have about 11 days to get your affairs in order, like accepting Jesus Christ as your personal lord and savior for one? I'm hoping I can get into The Elysian Fields myself, if Lord Zeus deems me worthy?!!

Sorry, can't make it, I'll be busy.

In A.D. 66, Israel declared war on Rome. Rome responded by sending the 12th legion in addition to thousands of auxiliaries from neighboring kingdoms.

These troops arrived in Tishri, a month that begins with the Day of Judgment. It is on this day that trumpets sound the somber days of atonement and final judgment.2 That's how the Jewish War began.

In Matthew 11:20-24, Jesus says that it would be more bearable for Tyre, Sidon and Sodom on the day of judgment than it would be for Korazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum.

The Roman army arrived in Jerusalem in A.D. 66 in Tishri, a month that begins with the Day of Judgment. Korazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum were ravaged by the Romans during this war in fulfillment of Jesus’ warning in Matthew 11:20-24.

dude.....are you trying to claim there will be no judgement day?....

You don’t need to change people posts or curse to make a point, but you do, you mock your faith by doing so. I remember our conversation, so someone either highjacked your computer or your have dementia.

I don’t lie, and more people on here will testify to that fact than will witness to your truthfulness.
you are lying if you claim I didn't know Luke accompanied Paul on several of his missionary journeys irrespective of how many brainless lib'ruls have your back.....

dude.....are you trying to claim there will be no judgement day?....

It already happened like the war with Gog and Magog already happened.

According to Josephus, the Jewish War was the worst war in history.

Jesus echoed these words in Matthew 24:21. In this verse, Jesus predicted that this war would bring unparalleled distress.

All the cities mentioned in these verses were attacked and destroyed by the Roman military. In Luke 12:49 Jesus says, “I have come to bring fire on the earth. . . .” Just after the initial aspect of the Parousia in A.D. 66, the Roman army attacked Israel.

See Historical Evidence that Jesus was LITERALLY SEEN in the Clouds in the First Century. The Romans demolished and burned the cities and countryside of Israel leaving the province a burning wasteland. The fiery fate of Israel is itself an earthly reflection of hell.

What divinity school did you attend?

The Bible often uses the word “parousia” when mentioning the “second coming.”

Parousia is a Greek word meaning “presence” or “coming.”

This word is used to denote the arrival of a conquering general, emperor or high-ranking official into a city for an extended stay oftentimes for several months or years before then returning to the capital city, the seat of his throne.

The word connotes a coming and an extended presence or stay often followed by a subsequent departure. When people think of the “second coming” or parousia, they often picture a one-time, brief appearance of Christ on the clouds.

However, this term generally connotes a coming and an extended stay or presence as is implied by the way “Parousia” is used in Philippians 2:12. Thus this term connotes a coming and extended stay similar to God’s extended presence throughout the act of creation laid out in Genesis 1.

I attended a seminary that follows the Christian tradition.......there is no one in the Christian tradition that does not believe Jesus Christ will return to judge the living and the dead.......period....

lol....you're joking, right?.....link me to a single Christian theologian who believes that the second coming will be a brief glimpse of Jesus....

Classical usage

From the Ptolemaic period to the second century of the common era "parousia' was used in the East as a technical expression to denote the arrival or visit of a king or emperor, and celebrated the glory of the sovereign publicly.

In memory of the visit of Emperor Nero to the cities of Patras and Corinth, advent coins were struck that carried the legend Adventus Augusti Corinth. The Greek word parousia here corresponded to the Latin word advent.

The numerous journeyings of the Emperor Hadrian were celebrated by many advent coins, and often new eras were reckoned from date of the parousia.

Physical presence, arrival – The main use is the physical presence of a person, the prospect of the physical arrival of that person, especially the visit of a royal or official personage and sometimes as an extension of this usage, a formal "occasion".

So you are afraid to name it????

afraid idiots here would try to use it to track my identity?......damn right......I've had people use photographs I've posted to track the address of my former office and make claims about my personal life.....I don't trust you farther than I could drag you...

besides, you don't need to know the name of the seminary to provide links to back up the bullshit you've posted......all you need is a link to "most biblical scholars"......

Are you the only person that ever attended that divinity school? Paranoid much?

The "end times" are about first century conflicts not the end of the world.

PmP is dishonest, profane, immoral, a cynical partisan hack and a tacit racist.
He is one of the least righteous people here, though he believes his is pious because he has a degree in magical thinking and mythology.
I put him in the same category with Praisekek.
The patience you exhibit with him is commendable. He does not deserve it.
