Did you just make that up? I never heard anyone say that kids were digging the tunnels.. In fact, most Palestinians are not involved in any sort of protest against Israel.

Israel helped found HAMAS as a foil against the PLA. In the mid 1980s Sabeel and most Muslims and Arabs tried to prevent the founding of HAMAS and lobbied hard against it, but the founders of HAMAS were recruiting from the meanest and most inpoverished refugee camps.
