All you do when you bring a gun into your home is add to the available supply of guns for criminals to steal. Last year, about 230,000 guns were stolen from "responsible gun owners". And those "responsible gun owners" only notified the cops their guns were stolen 86% of the time. That means there are 32,200 guns per year that are in the hands of criminals with no one looking for them.
I don't believe you or anyone is responsible enough to own a firearm because you cannot make a guarantee that you won't act irresponsibly. And I'm not about to put my life and the lives of others in your shitty hands.
