Trump doesn’t need to take the 5th on the obstruction non-issue, anyway lol.

He can plead Article II: the president doesn’t have to answer to anyone but God about firing FBI Directors. They serve at the pleasure of the president.

You can’t charge a president for exercising his constitutional authority. Period. Liberals have short term memory issues lol.

There are very few people who do not know more than Donald Trump.

But almost any reasonable guess, as Kudzu does, that Kim isn't going to denuke until he gets everything else he wants. Kim is playing Donald Trump like a Stradivarius. So are most other world leaders.
 
Even if Trump stumbled into something he can take credit for, and hr certainly will be lauded by conservative pundits, that doesn't automatically cancel out all the bad things about him.

He is still the same horrible person he was.

He BRAGS openly about being so special he can grope women freely and get away with it.

He preys on the weak, has outsized greed, and doesn't care about others. He's impetuous, bigoted, a xenophobe, a liar, a cheat, a misogynist, a chauvinist, and he fools himself that he has any class at all, even though old money still rejects him.

He has skirted the law his entire life, has numerous court cases pending, many judgements against him, been made to pay restitution, had Supreme Court judgements go against him, and he is a racist who was court-ordered to undergo changes to his business practices.

He is under investigation by the FBI.

And many other law enforcement agencies are on his trail.

Even if he had some hand in this positive NK development he is still unfit to be president.

Yes he does. Trump can be subpoened to force him to testify.The judicial is one of the 3 equal branches. Mueller is giving Trump all the deference he can because you idiots make him a president. But he will not permit Trump to escape if he thinks he has committed crimes.

I never said I wanted Comey fired. I knew he was doing what he thought was right to protect the FBI. It seems he was wrong. Trump would love to take that power as his own.

No matter what happens next, this is historic.

I keep looking for reasons to be skeptical about Kim’s intentions and I keep coming up empty. Yes, he’s always lied in the past, but he keeps taking NK in a direction it’s never gone before.

Politically, if Kim really does denuke and the Koreas become one country, Stormy, Mueller, Trump’s Twitter account...none of it will matter or prevent him from being the most successful foreign policy president since Reagan, at least.

And I don’t think Reagan could have pulled that off—not in his first term.
