What truly is troubling is how many right wing jerks think there are many out here hoping negotiations are not successful. I suspect that is a transference thing...I think the crazies on the right actually root against their country if a non-crazy is at the helm.

In any case...no matter how this plays out...I doubt Donald Trump will look "good."

He will still be a sleaze...no matter what.

Obama had a brain fart and toppled Libya so now Islamists are trading Africans there to fund further terrorism; he allowed ISIS to set their caliphate up before he engaged them, costing thousands of lives and creating a humanitarian crisis. He gave Assad a false Red Line, got caught played footsie with Putin’s stooge off-mic. I don’t even know where to stop.

No matter what happens next, this is historic.

I keep looking for reasons to be skeptical about Kim’s intentions and I keep coming up empty. Yes, he’s always lied in the past, but he keeps taking NK in a direction it’s never gone before.

Politically, if Kim really does denuke and the Koreas become one country, Stormy, Mueller, Trump’s Twitter account...none of it will matter or prevent him from being the most successful foreign policy president since Reagan, at least.

And I don’t think Reagan could have pulled that off—not in his first term.

Negative vibes are not going to derail this. It was never on track.

It would be wonderful if the dprk gave up their nukes. It's not very likely. Informed people have been saying this all along, but Trump supporters would rather stay in their bubble of unreality and lash out at the rational.

I posted yesterday that Kim is not giving up all his bargaining chips as a prelude to the talks. Destroy nukes, and the the US will talk about what, nukes? So Kim is balking. There goes Trumps Nobel. Perhaps his tweeting can get him a Pulitzer.

Hahaha.. You don't know anything about Libya either.. There was no way to stop what was happening short of a large, long term occupation force.
