ALERT: Active shooter at Santa Fe Tx. High school

Not one argument made.

I see you are too fucking stupid to comprehend that post, too.

My solution: Get rid of all those gun free signs. Put up signs that say school staff is armed (even if they are not). Allow all those that work in the schools and are qualified both with a weapon and psychologically to carry. I did not say force now did I.

Let those that would harm our kids know that they will be stopped, even if we have to kill them to stop them.

Fake news, Ms. Stretch.

I posted a picture from the shooter's own Facebook page showing exactly what he had on his duster (not a "trench coat", BTW).

Here it is again.

Zero Nazi emblems. No "uniform-like attire".

It's strange that "Hollywood Life" didn't mention the hammer & sickle, though.

Well then the other kids at the school are lying. They call it a long trench coat that he wears a lot to school.

Students described Pagourtzis as quiet and "weird" because a long trench coat was part of his wardrobe, even on days when the temperature neared 90 degrees, CBS News' Omar Villafranca reports. His motive is still unclear.

His social media pages showed multiple images of guns. He recently posted a photo wearing a t-shirt reading "Born to Kill" and there were also photos of a long green jacket with Nazi regalia.

Sometime when you do that you wind up paying court costs and lawyers fees for a frivolous lawsuit.

A few years ago here in Florida, they rewrote the law governing liability for legal fees of the winning parties in lawsuits.

Now when a plaintiff loses a suit that they initiated, not only are the losing plaintiffs themselves liable, but the losing plaintiff's attorney is required to share half the liability.

Now that attorneys can be held liable for half their clients' liability if they lose, they are much more careful about which cases they accept and the number of frivilous lawsuits have decreased.

Kids are ignorant. Pagourtzis was wearing an Outback oilskin duster. Those have a distinctive odor which some find unpleasant, which could account for reports that claim he "smelled bad".

The liberal media is clearly lying, since the photos show no "Nazi regalia".

Pagourtzis posted multiple pictures (on FB) of a duster jacket emblazoned with a variety of symbols including the Iron Cross, a German military award last given by the Nazis, and a hammer and sickle. He said he equated the Iron Cross with “bravery,” and the hammer and sickle with “rebellion.”

I think the jacket he posted online ... is not the same one he wore everyday.

The Iron Cross predates the Nazi regime by more than a century, Ms. Stretch. It is not "Nazi regalia".

This is the currently-awarded German decoration:

The fake news media seems to be trying very hard to paint this kid as a right-wing nut-job, I think.

Yeah, ... his medal is a cross ... not a swastika

The real solution is to not give the killers the infamy the want. Gag order on the media to never release the names of the shooters, don't do weeks and weeks of coverage on "what went wrong with poor jimmy, what did we do to him!?"

Get rid of that and these shootings will disappear. But do you think our corrupt media cares about kids? Fuck no they want the ratings.

This is exactly part of the reason these are happening.

Schools are unprotected / easy targets
Some shooters were bullied / revenge
Low self-esteem from the bulling / notoriety

All good possibilities, I'd say.

Trouble is, we can't suppress the news.

Maybe I'm missed something. You think it's the same one he wore to school ... adorned with all those medallions?

That's the only one I've seen.

I suppose it's possible he wore a "trench coat", which is a different article of clothing completely.

The Iron Cross is a famous German military medal dating back to the 19th century. During the 1930s, the Nazi regime in Germany superimposed a swastika on the traditional medal, turning it into a Nazi symbol.

In this kid's mind I'm sure he's not looking at his particular version of the Iron Cross that he wore as a sign of love and peace.

Speculation, Ms. Stretch. As you already know, he said it was for "bravery", which has the idea behind the symbol since 1813.

I couldn't help noticing Australia didn't have a deranged mass shooting of children today....

Hmmmm

Neither did Israel:

In 1974, Israel endured the Ma’alot Massacre in which “Palestinian” terrorists took 115 people hostage at Netiv Meir Elementary School. Twenty-two children and three others were killed and 68 injured. Israel now requires schools with 100 or more students to have a guard posted. The civilian police force handles the entire security system of all schools from kindergarten through college. The Ministry of Education funds shelters and fences, reinforces school buses, and hires and trains guards.

Guards don’t just stand around. They check everyone entering, and engage threats.
And yeah, they’ve got guns. The lawful purposes for carrying guns are very clear: protect school personnel and students, create a sense of security, deter the ill-intentioned, and provide self-defense.
