Appears nearly half the GOP has bought into Trump's shtick, even at the cost of the First Amendment, and I remember when conservatives told us they were all about the Constitution.

Amazing how in such a short period of time the GOP has totally forgotten what used to be their core principles, well, what they said were their core principle; character, fiscal conservatism, free trade, supporting allies, free markets, truth, and the rule of law. Sorry Jimmy but Hillary was not "cleared" in fact the investigation found that she had broken the law but wasn't worth prosecuting.

I am personally struggling with the banning of Alex Jones from Twitter and Facebook. On one hand they are private companies and should be allowed to let anyone participate or not participate on their site. So being ideologically consistent I should not have a problem with it and if it were isolated, I wouldn't.

But.......

This is obviously a coordinated effort or "collusion" if you will. I am sure that this runs afoul of FTC laws. I also recognize that since November 9, 2016 we have entered into all out war with leftists who can't abide losing elections and will stop at nothing to implement their goals. It is no good being in a war when only one side is fighting it.

That is the biggest problem I have with JPP NeverTrumpers. They still don't realize that they are in a war. They think this is all some academic debating club.

I guess we will just have to see how this all plays out. Like all things the left does, I suspect this will come back to bite them in the ass in the end. Just like gerrymandering did. Just like the games they played with judicial nominations is.
