Indeed....finally A TRUTH. That war was fought between the democrat party and the republican party, not actually between the north and the south. No one can pick and choose their place of birth, but they sure as hell can pick their virtue or lack thereof.

That's logic for ya. First you declare that it was a SLAVE MATTER.....which was LEGAL and CONSTITUTIONAL at that time because the majority party wanted it legal....the democrat party. And history points out that the democrats said, IF YOU WANT SLAVERY TO END....do it under the US CONTITUTIONAL RULE OF LAW. Until then We are represented under STATES RIGHTS. This issue could have been solved by allowing history to take its natural course.....slavery would have ended, just like it was beginning to end all over the civilized world at that time....when the cost was overridden by technology and industrialization....just like was the geological fact in the NORTH. As was stated....the vast majority of those who engaged in that REVOLUTION were merely protecting their homes when they were invaded.....the majority of the US population never were slave holders. Legislation existed then as it does today. THE WEALTHLY LOBBY makes the laws.

Simply because you wish to ignore the actual facts documented in HISTORY ACTUAL does not make "YOUR OPINION" your private truth. Truth is truth. Slavery was a product of the Democrat party.

It was fought between the North and SOuth. The Southern states renounced the US, seceded, wrote their own Constitution, elected their own President, and called themselves The Confederate States of America.

So yes, it was entirely about North vs. South, and the Southern virtue was love of slavery.

Well, it had already ended in most of the civilized world long before the US Civil War. And by seceding, renouncing the US, writing your own Constitution, electing your own President, and calling yourself The Confederate States of America, you're not proving history would have eventually led the Confederacy to give up slavery.

No they weren't. The reason they fought was made crystal clear in the articles of secession: slavery. That's straight from the horse's mouth. Anyone who fought for the Confederacy was fighting for slavery. period.
