According to a lot of Trump boot lickers here, it is all a George Soros-funded false flag operation.

A Trump supporter was interviewed at a rally and floated the interesting theory that Obama and Hillary mailed the bombs to themselves to make Trump look bad.

The subtle messages are the most effective. When you need to blow your nose, do you use a tissue or a kleenex? How about if you get a cut. Do you put a bandaid on it? When you perform an internet search do you google something? If you resist all of these subtle marketing messages that puts you in a very small minority. Advertising works or it would not be worth big money. The President is highly skilled at marketing. He has made his name worth so much that people pay him just to put his name on their products. Did you know there are plenty of 'Trump Towers' all over the world that he has no ownership stake in? And never did.

Messaging and word are effective.

This lame bit of denial is indicative of how people on the right are reeling from the fallout of this.

I am frankly surprised it took so long for somebody to act on his rhetoric, it has been so incendiary.

It makes crystal clear sense that it would come to a head during the election in which Trump could lose some of his power.
 
The ends are questionable as well. The inequality in this country is out of hand. No middle class,
the Reagan style model leads to haves and have nots.

I'm not so sure Trump even gives a shit about any other rich people. He just makes sure that the policies he moves forward, makes him a direct benefactor, first and foremost, and if it should happen to help a few others..... well then.... that's just the way it is by golly.

In case you have not noticed, not everyone has to lower themselves to express their view. I, personally, welcome civil discourse. We need more of that and fewer personal attacks. We come here to discuss politics, not one another.

Southern Dad, I hope you stay and find a way to deal with the trash talk. I simply ignore it. It's not worth responding to. All a response does is provide trolls with an endorphin rush and let them know you will be their enabler for more abuse. I am liberal, and I am glad you are here, as long as you are into civil discourse. Civil discourse is the savior of our country. All we need to do is use it, cherish it, embrace it. We may have differences but the only way we can blend them to establish good policy is by discussing the issues and ideas for what to do.

Great minds talk about ideas. Average minds talk about current events. Small minds talk about other people. We all have to ask ourselves why we are really here, and how we want to come off. We are responsible for what we say, and it is recorded for a long time for all to see and search back through. A good thing to keep in mind as we post.

All you can come up with is "basket of deplorables" while trump is in the news every freakin' day insulting somebody, anybody. To be clear I'm not saying that's her only insult but it's certainly the only one people remember and quote.

When are you guys going to realize that trump doesn't care about you? He only cares about himself, and he can't go a day without posting aggrieved tweets that the world is against him. Yesterday in NC was no different. Poor trump was so offended by media coverage of the attempted bombings.
