Century village is not a "gated community". It's the biggest and oldest bunch of retirement communities in the country, maybe the world. And if broward and palm beach are the bluest counties in Florida, century village in deerfield beach burns a brighter blue than a new star. The ghost of Amadeo Trinchitello(google him, big demorat kingmaker)still roams those condos. That place has been a polling place all my life, and they've always had security there(but dems don't want voter ID), I accidentally turned into the C.V. entrance one day and had to show my ID to make a U-turn. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes

This is what provisional ballots are all about. Votes cast without proper ID, demographic info, voter registration, etc. These have to be manually reviewed for possible validation. There are boxes of these in Broward.
Free state ID's are available to anyone. It's easy. Every citizen should have some form of ID. It's disingenuous to believe that a person receiving any benefits such as S.S., S.S.I., EBT, Medicare, Medicaid, etc. where proper SS# and verified address and ID are necessary, somehow wouldn't have ID in order to vote.

Well open your eyes and see what is happening right now! The usual Broward County is trying to submit more "found" ballots AFTER the deadline. I have no problem with recounts after a properly run election with timely submitted ballots in any county...I've said that before.
THIS is entirely different and there's been a pattern of this for years with Broward.

Because they shouldn't need one, why does one need a designated ID to vote? It isn't a problem anywhere in the country so why even make it a prerequisite? And why does it have to be a specific ID, what is the matter with a driver's license or any verifiable evidence of identity?

And it may be free, but what you call easy to get may not be for some people, especially the elderly or some poor schmuck working two jobs trying to stay afloat? Not to mention the games individuals can play to make it difficult for others to obtain that "easy" document
 
One thing that irritates me, is- you can't even walk up to your polling stations to vote without being bombarded by the people begging for your vote.

Isn't that all a little too late?

It got to a point this time for me that it just became insulting to me. I felt offended!

Setting up Political tents and being approached by Campaign people should be banned at polling stations!

you get sent a voters card and then you use that to vote with.


it has worked for decades


the need for an ID at the polls is all based on LIES from the republican party

they study and study it and every time it come out you are more likely to be struck by lighting then to have voter fraud in your election
