I saw in the clip where Chuckie and Pelosi said they would compromise on ‘border security’ to keep from shutting down the government. But Trump stood his ground and said [to the effect] he wouldn’t sign any bill without a border security provision.

Clearly, they are talking about two different things. The Pelosi/Schumer version of ‘border security’ is what got us to this place. For decades, both sides have made promises on border security—yet here we are fending off caravans of Hondurans at our southern border. Let me reiterate: it’s NOT just a democrat thing—both sides are culpable in it.

And Trump comes along and wants to build a damn wall lol.

Democrats should get behind Trump on the wall. Think about it: once the wall is built the immigration issue is off the table and democrats won’t have to worry about how to ‘not talk about it’ and/or resort to the same old empty promises on border security—that people are starting to see through.

A big reason Trump won the WH is because he was actually serious about border security. Here is the chance for democrats to take the issue from him. Fund the wall and make it a dead issue.

But democrats never listen to me.

When I said "all of" I meant all of the parts owned by private individuals, not the whole 2000 miles, Sorry I was not more clear.

Land taken by force still has to be paid for.

The land along the Rio Grande is not worthless.

Trump said the wall would cover all 2000 miles and be taller than the tallest ladder...but I guess he was just lying about that part also.

Israel has a wall because they have been taking Palestinian land for 70 years and killing anyone who protests.

You must be joking. Those walls around the Vatican were built between the 9th and 16th centuries. You can still walk right into St. Peter's Square.
