Russia is preventing the fall of Syria- which in turn prevents the Izraelis from attacking Iran. Iran knows this- and so supports the Russian presence. So Russian interference is welcome- and important to regional peace.

Trump's ' withdrawal ' also scares the Saudis- so the arms sales will continue .

The only country preventing Israel from attacking Iran ... is the U.S.. Russia has nothing to do with that.
