I'm not aware that anyone is "demanding" that we feed their children. As i said, just don't worry about it. But, if it bothers you that much, take it up with your local schools/politicians...

When parents expect the schools which are funded by taxes to feed their damn kids, it's demanding. Just try to take away such programs and their reactions will prove it.

If you care so much, sell everything you have and enable a bunch of fucking freeloaders that refuse to do even the most basic thing for THEIR kids.
 
CFM does not have to show any empathy or kindness. He can be just as selfish and as small as he always is. Nobody is going to force him to do anything. Let the poor kids starve.

I have no problem with schools providing meals...I just wish the programs were much better...Parents are indeed irresponsible sometimes. We try to work with them... There will be many kids who begin school without the supplies they need. We'll provide them. It's all about the kids...bottom line....

we currently give them lunch and breakfast......I suppose we could also give them supper and go tuck them in at night.....maybe read them a story.......meanwhile, why are you ignoring the fact that the OP is only about people who don't meet federal standards of financial needs.........
