It's really quite simple.
Religion is "an initial circular argument with other arguments stemming from it". A circular argument is an argument which concludes with its initial predicate (ie, an "argument of faith"). The initial circular argument ("argument of faith") of Atheism is that "god(s) do not exist". Atheism is completely dependent upon the truth of that argument of faith.
