WTF, OXYCONTIN-they are killing about 40 ppl a day & NO ONE IS GOING TO PRISON??

No, but it wouldn't be the first time contrived or exaggerated claims against big Pharma by left-wing lunatics has been made. People have a right to pain relief, just because some people may abuse drugs, doesn't negate that right. Why is it liberals always want to punish law-abiding citizens for the transgressions of others?

You prob should of stopped there.....

Your left wing right wing shit is failing in this argument......

The states that are going after them, & rightly so are red & blue & it isn't to fill the coffers but to try & help their citizens that are now suffering as a result of the careless abuse......

If you are so inclined as to read up pls share your opinions, until you do I really can't think of anything more to tell you about it, other than what I have said already..

& to add this~Ppl that are/have been hurt, hassled about getting the meds have been hurt by these ppl, not by me & others than want them in jail & to pay fines etc.

You have a great day homie.........hats-off-salute-smiley-emoticon.gif

It's not Liberals. I want to know why the doctors aren't the ones being indicted? Pharma companies make the product. Granted...we are seeing instances where these manufacturers lied about possible addiction, or instances where they bribed doctors/reps to push these meds onto everyone regardless of applicable need.

But the pill mills in Fla are responsible for flooding the streets of many states with opiates.

So what was it, punk?

Weak?
Bad company?
Lousy student?
Shitty parents?
Or just fucking stupid?

My bet? All of the above.
I spent 8 days in the hospital with 7 fractured ribs and a separated shoulder. They had me on I.V opiates, but I would deny them until I couldn't stand the pain. Typically at night so I could sleep.

I went off cold turkey my last night in the hospital. Pain was bad. So was my next week at home, as I refused to take the opiates they sent me home with.

Everyone deals with pain differently. Knowing the issues with opiate addiction, one would have to be a moron to succumb to the pain and admit defeat.

I'm in pain every day of my life. I deal with it.

pill mills have been "indicted" doctors use best practices for the most part -when they don't the DEA crashes down on their liscense

self congratulation is mental masturbation - have at it

Yeah, I’ve seen many punks just like you back in the day.

Shitty home.
Shitty student.
Ran with a bad crowd.
Just fucking stupid
Tough fuck (or so you thought) You worthless punks needed your fucking group for your “strength”

How many cars did you break into, asswipe, to support your habit?

Made those amends yet?

I hold the Doc less responsible as the reps were lying to them, but they are certainly highly intelligent & I am sure some where hip to the deal.. The patients, some rational, some where naive & others prob not so much.

.
Although it's illegal now, doctors were more than happy to take bribes from the pharma reps. They knew that Oxy was meant for end stage cancer patients...not someone with sore knees.

Doctors are AS liable, or more than the Pharma companies. Without complicit doctors, Pharma's attempted bribes go nowhere.

Give me a shot of whiskey and cut it out doc. I'll ride my horse out of here.

serious do these morons ever consider the vast amount of pain patients do NOT get addicted ??
why is that?

more. ignorance . what is the difference between oxycodone and oxycontin? NOTHING same drug!

where timed dispersement is of more value then popping a dose PRN -Oxycontin is preferred

Pain management has come along way. I’m fortunate. Other than my plantar fasciitis from my long distance running, never had any. But, that was a bitch, I’ll admit!

But the prescription industry and the docs are now to be held as accountable as the tobacco people. About time.

Next?

NRA and the gun industry.
The vaping assholes

here's an idea. crawl into a box and seal yourself tight. maybe put some lettuce and a bowl of water in there.
You got a safe space!! the bad things wont get you there!

you'd be surprised when addicts get their meds met what they can do -it's called functional addiction

There would be much less crime and far less overdoses if the stuff was legal, cheap and readily available without a prescription. Dopers are going to dope and a certain number of them are going to die, but I opine that the numbers would be much less that the ODs and murders that we are currently seeing with the War on Drugs.

yeppers. the war on drugs creates the crime, the addiction ( being unable to get medical advice on use)
and the mental separation from society.

Sunshine is the best medicine - make it all legal and the crime goes away, and people learn how to use and not abuse
