It would be a mandatory buyback. The question was would he supported a mandatory buyback of assault weapons. He responded saying "Hell yes we're going to take your AR-15, your AK-47".

What do you think would happen to those who own those particular guns and don't participate in the mandatory buyback? The government will say no problem?

Call if confiscation with a payment but it's still confiscation.

Yes. They started the fire to avoid capture by government agents. Agents who were obviously there to shoot them and bulldoze their home. Agents violating the Constitution of the United States.

They shot his wife and son, who no threat. All by government agents violating the Constitution of the United States.

McVeigh's attack was retaliatory in nature. It was an act of revenge.

Again this distortion.

The right to self defense is inherent. It does not come from the Constitution of the United States no any other piece of paper.

The 2nd amendment discusses two related rights, not one. Both are about self defense.
1) The right of a State to defend itself. It does this by organizing a militia, made up of from the people in that State. The unorganized militia is everyone living in that State.
2) The right of an individual to defend themselves. The people have the right to bear arms.

The 2nd amendment does not grant any right. The right is inherent. Even an animal has the right to defend itself to the best of its ability.

The 2nd amendment clarifies to the federal government that it has no authority to mess with this right. It never had the right anyway, since it's not listed in Article I, $8 or anywhere else in the Constitution.
The 2nd amendment is also binding upon the States. No State government has the authority to mess with that right either. That means infringe, dumbass.

'Gun free' zones don't work. These are where mass shootings occur. Why anyone would think a murderer like that is going to respect any gun law is beyond me.

Gun laws punish people that are NOT shooting up shopping malls, schools, etc. They punish people that are not being hazardous with guns. It does NOTHING for the criminals intent on shooting people except make it easier for them to get away with it.

Define 'weapon of war'. Revolvers were weapons of war. Are they assault weapons? Some soldiers carry Glock pistols today. Others carry .45 pistols. Both are semi-automatic designs. Are they weapons of war? Are they 'assault weapons'?
AR15 designs are not weapons of war. Soldiers use the automatic version, the M16 (lately they've been using M4 Carbines). There's really no point to the AR15 on the battlefield.

All you are demonstrating is that you have no clue about any of these weapons.
