96%... CONSENUS!

Bottom line, the abortion debate should not be about whether or not a fertilized egg is human. It should be about the legal issue of when the unborn human child should be granted basic human life protections. Is it from day 1? After the heartbeat is detected? Sentience? Birth?

As seen in the article above, even the biologists who knew the correct answer scientifically still had urges to demean the question as they thought it would hurt their position on abortion.

Quit denying science. Admit the progeny is human. Then get on with the legal debate.

Nobody is denying a human embryo is a human embryo. Read Roe, they discuss all the important aspects in concluding upon a location to
state when a "person" vested with rights such that the state has a compelling interest to regulate and protect against the countervailing right to
privacy, which they acknowledged and protected also, and that included biological facts, historical treatment of the subject, religion in history
and criminal law.

I bet if righttard moron ACTUALLY BOTHERED TO READ ROE V WADE, they'd realize what a well thought out treatise it indeed is.

So consensus and science don't matter when you disagree?

I understand Roe deals with the legality. I am talking about the idiots on the left that continually try to pretend the progeny isn't human. That it is not a unique human life.

Most lefties will get around to trashing science about two pages into an abortion debate.

This is beyond sad. Talk about bullshit sourcing with this monstrous fabrication. The owner is demented and sickening, so why you don't check these things is nuts. Can we please put on some big boy pants?

I'm pretty sure that every single person posting here's life began when there was fertilization of an egg/sperm...unless someone wants to claim otherwise, of course....

The abortion debate was based on when the fetus becomes viable. There was nothing in Roe v. Wade or other court decisions about "when life begins."

Interesting read, thanks.

Yes, most of us with any kind of education in the biological sciences know that the zygote is alive in the sense that the cells comprising it engage in biological processes. This has nothing, really, to do with abortion.

Don't go there. It's not a site you would touch with a ten-foot pole.

I wish it was easier to be pro-life. Why do so many have to complicate things on all sides? It gives me migraines.

“I've noticed that everyone who is for abortion has already been born.”

― Ronald Reagan
That is not complicated....
