Andrew Nepolitano would vote to impeach Trump

How is it not obstruction? How does Executive Privilage cover everyone who ever worked at any time in the White House? Any member of the Cabinet or a Cabinet member's staff past or present? Any and all documents which normally would be open for public review? Actions of the President before he was even elected President?

Your understanding of Executive Privilage is actually Executive absolutism, one of the very things the Founding Fathers warned us against

As per the Supreme Court, congress is not a law enforcement agency and cannot investigate someone purely to expose wrongdoing or damaging information about them for political gain. A subpoena must potentially further some legitimate legislative purpose.

Tell us how he can invoke Executive Privilege for someone else.

An appearance under subpoena is not EP.

By the separation of powers doctrine and Congressional subpoena power isnt unlimited. It is up to the courts to the constitutional separation of governmental powers and not up to congress.

"Contempt of Congress is the act of obstructing the work of the United States Congress or one of its committees. Historically, the bribery of a U.S. Senator or U.S. Representative was considered contempt of Congress. In modern times, contempt of Congress has generally applied to the refusal to comply with a subpoena issued by a Congressional committee or subcommittee—usually seeking to compel either testimony or the production of requested documents."

There are limits to Congressional subpoena power which are left up to the courts to decide the constitutionality and legitimate legislative purpose.

the criminal contempt statute permits Congress to certify a contempt citation to the executive branch for the criminal prosecution of the contemnor.
~~
Obstruction as a charge of Congress without a court order is just a separation of powers standoff.
Let them write it into impeachment, it's just another abuse of power of the Committee's doing
If Congress wants it subpoenas enforced, let them go to the courts

It doesn’t cover EVERY question, idiot.

Q. Mr. Giuliani, for the record, could you spell your name?
A. I claim executive privilege.

:rofl2:
Please post the statute or ruling on this.
Again dummy, you aren't a supreme court judge and cant determine what it covers in this situation.
