Of course it is political. Impeachment and every other decision Congress makes is political because that is their job.
McConnell's decision not to begin confirmation hearings on Garland was just as political and Democrats were yelling he was not doing his constitutional duty. I figured it was a waste of time to hold hearings if they knew in advance they were not going to confirm him. But that does not mean he was not "nominated."

Actually, he's right...in a way. The act of impeachment is sending the articles of impeachment to the Senate. Queen Nancy hasn't done that yet, and is actually going against the votes of your own House. She is not only trying to control the Presidency, she is trying to control the Senate, and she is trying to declare the House null and void.
She is clearly violating the Constitution.
