Corrected. Nixon started the war on drugs (an unconstitutional program). Johnson, however, started such unconstitutional programs as Medicare and Medicaid, gun control, the Public Broadcasting networks, and the Clean Air act.

You're right, we do know which party wants to end the war on drugs. It's called the Libertarian Party and they've been pushing that position for decades. But congrats on being woke in 2020 and jumping on the bandwagon now.
