It is simply prohibition of alcohol all over again... only this time for decades. Not like it has ever been hard to acquire... you simply add a criminal component to it. Which in the end overcrowded prisons with repeat 'offenders' etc...
They should release all non-violent drug offenders, put them on probation for a brief stint, then work to legalize.
Heroin, meth etc... should def not be on the same level as MJ. Especially given the fact that MJ has been used for medicinal purposes for 1000's of years. It is actually better for the body than the crap the pharmaceutical industry produces (which is a big part of why it has remained illegal).
The end is near as more and more states legalize it.
What about the greater good? Pot makes people lazy asses we do not need more lazy brained lazy people! I speak from experience, my brother, and several ex friends who had it ruin them!
