The Democrats vow to legalize it!

What about the greater good? Pot makes people lazy asses we do not need more lazy brained lazy people! I speak from experience, my brother, and several ex friends who had it ruin them!

In a free country, you should be allowed to be lazy if you want. The alternative is that the government decides how you live.

Why do you normalize things like homosexuality and someone believing he/she can be the only other possible gender because they think so when both are clearly signs of a mental illness?

First of all, I'm talking about freedom here. If two adults of the same gender want to have sex behind closed doors, then they should have the freedom to do so. If you believed in freedom, you would say the same thing.

Now as for normalizing homosexuality, I don't see why it shouldn't be seen as a normal behavior. Some people are gay, some people are straight, some people are bisexual, that's just life. There is no evidence that homosexuality is a result of mental illness.

Now gender dysphoria is a mental illness, but it's not one that makes these people dangerous. And if them transitioning is going to make them happier without harming anyone else, why do you care?

So am I. Freedom includes people being able to express their opinions about things, including homosexuality, and not be fired, punished, etc. for doing so. https://www.nbcnews.com/feature/nbc...ing-boy-two-dads-homosexuality-wrong-n1094396

Things that aren't normal shouldn't be considered normal. Some people do choose to be homosexual and some choose to be straight. There is no such things as a bisexual. There is no evidence that people are born either way.

How do you know they're not dangerous? People with a mental illness are not allowed to own guns yet people with mental illness are encouraged to act it out when it comes to gender. As far as freedom when it comes to this issue, when people that have a negative opinion about it say so, they can be fired, punished, etc. for exercising that freedom. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ne...nder-pronoun-sponsor-denies-that-would-happen

Two people of the same gender cannot have sex. They cannot procreate.
If you believed in freedom, you would say the same thing.
They are free to make their decision. They are not free of the consequences of that decision.
Now as for normalizing homosexuality, I don't see why it shouldn't be seen as a normal behavior.
It is abnormal behavior. Procreation is normal behavior.

It is not a mental illness. It is a poor decision.
Now gender dysphoria is a mental illness,
Not a mental illness either.
but it's not one that makes these people dangerous.
They are dangerous to each other, and to other partners. They can be dangerous to hospital workers that care for them.
And if them transitioning is going to make them happier without harming anyone else, why do you care?
Maybe I just don't like to see the pain and suffering these people go through.

It depends on the setting. You have the freedom to say that rape should be legal. But if you're a teacher and say this, you'll probably get fired. You'll still have your free speech, like you could make a website about legalizing rape, but you will likely never be able to work in a school again.

Things that aren't normal shouldn't be considered normal. Some people do choose to be homosexual and some choose to be straight. There is no such things as a bisexual. There is no evidence that people are born either way.

All of the studies say that being gay isn't a choice and that bisexuals definitely do exist. Again, you have the freedom to believe what you want, but the rest of society has the freedom to look down on you for these beliefs.

How do you know they're not dangerous? People with a mental illness are not allowed to own guns yet people with mental illness are encouraged to act it out when it comes to gender.

Actually, it depends on what the mental illness is. If it's an illness that doesn't cause very irrational or violent behavior, then you could still own a gun.

Fox News, so it's probably bullshit. But either way, this doesn't mean transgender people are dangerous. At one point, Spain put people in jail for not being Catholic. Does that mean Catholics are more dangerous than people who aren't Catholic? Of course not. It was just a stupid law created by some extremist Catholics.

IN the debate last night every Democrat running for office vowed to legalize weed....

Trump wont say what his position is on the stuff, but he has taken 0 action to legalize it.

I guess we know which party wants to end the silly war on drugs!

Decriminalization makes more sense.

In other words, all you talk about freedom really meant when you think someone should be able to use it. Got it.

All those studies you mention yet not one of them is sourced. If you want to look down on someone for speaking the truth, it makes you look foolish but you have the freedom to be a fool. There is no such thing as a bisexual.

Again, how do you know it doesn't cause violent behavior? The suicide rate for transgenders is 40%. Suicide is a violent act.

Yeah...that's a left wing promise for you. They want to legalize POT and make Vaping Illegal. Go figure....does that sound like FREEDOM and LIBERTY? They want to legalize POT...but tell you what type and how large a size of Soda you can drink, how much salt you can have with your salty snacks. They want to legalize POT and outlaw STRAWS.

Logic eludes the simple minded....no? :bigthink: Why do they want to legalize pot? They want you high and apathic when they TAX YOU TO HELL AND BACK and tell you to relax that's only rain running down your back. They depend upon the un-enlightened simple minded people to support them...they want people without the capacity of critical independent thought....they want "wasted" sheep to blindly volunteer to go into the slaughter house. Look how they have dumb down the public education system. The common grad can't even read a daily newspaper nor tell you who the first president of the Untied States was.....they can't tell you about how many times the United States has pulled Europe's Socialist ass out of the fascist frying pan.....they can't tell you that over 100,000,000 people were killed by Socialists on their quest for Social Justice in the 20th century.

Yeah.....Freedom and Liberty? Really? That's a DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST agenda for ya.

Truth: The left wants POT LEGAL for one reason...…..all the money they are losing on UNTAXED sales. They are to stupid to realize that a FLAT TAX would make everyone pay equally....even the gains of by the criminal element when a standard tax is realized on the money you spend not the money you earn.

That's not what I said. What I said was that it's legal to say what you want, but you will still have to deal with the backlash. In a school setting, you can't say anything very controversial.

Do you actually want to see some studies? Or will you just keep telling yourself things that you know are wrong?

Again, how do you know it doesn't cause violent behavior? The suicide rate for transgenders is 40%. Suicide is a violent act.

Because there's no evidence that it causes violent behavior.
We don't know exactly why suicide is higher among trans people. If could be genetic, it could be cultural because of transphobia. Could be both. Luckily, trans people don't pose a threat to you, so there's no reason to worry about them so much.
