Man Dies, Wife Critical From Chloroquine After Hearing Trump Tout

It looks like it's very unlikely that Trump had anything to do with this since I don't think Trump mentioned it back in February. The media is a much more likely candidate for running stories on fish tank cleaner on March 19..

Sellers on eBay and other websites hiked prices in March, and buyers were willing to shell out large amounts of cash for the substance, Storyful found. The listings indicated that the product wasn’t meant for human consumption.

Between Feb. 25 and March 2, the price paid for a single 25-gram bottle of chloroquine phosphate rose from $9.99 to over $500.

So who was hyping this Between Feb. 25 and March 2?? Not Trump

They got the idea from Trump when he listed drugs he said worked on Corona. Trump is guilty of wishful thinking and lying, and his lack of knowledge steered some people in the wrong direction. It is no problem. Alex Jones said his toothpaste would cure it. The FDA stopped him claiming it was fraudulent. But rightys are being cured every day as they brush their teeth, aren't they?

Dodging your own uninformed error, eh? :palm:
So, educated people discussing a disease using correct medical and scientific terminology should have to dumb it down for those like you and
others who speak and/or act before looking up the terminology to know what the hell you are speaking about or acting upon or responding to? :palm:
No error, I explicitly noted the differences in chemical formulation.

You are yucking it up that these old people were not able to discriminate between different molecular formulations of this compound.

But you wouldn't know the difference between chromium-3, and hexavalent chromium-6, nor between methylmercury and inorganic mercury without frantically Googling.

These people made a mistake and were utterly foolish for experimenting with chemical compounds. But they did it on the premise that the chemical name given by your president and Fox was a source of hope.

Your president should keep his mouth shut and not blurt out medical opinions. That should be left to trained experts.

Trump’s Coronavirus Approval 60% / Overall Approval 49% (Gallup Poll)
Some six in 10 Americans approve of the job Donald Trump is doing to combat the coronavirus crisis, pushing the president’s approval rating – 49% - to the highest of his presidency, according to a poll released Tuesday by Gallup.

Trump’s gains come as his standing has improved among Democrats and independents amid the viral outbreak, which has killed more than 660 people even as the nation has adopted strict rules limiting public gatherings.
Trump’s job approval numbers are up 6 points among Democrats and 8 points among independents, according to the survey.

And voters are largely giving Trump positive marks for his handling of the pandemic,
with 94% of Republicans, 60% of independents, and 27% of Democrats approving of his efforts.
That’s higher than his general approval rating among each group.

The survey, which carried a margin of error of plus or minus 4%, was conducted from March 13 through March 22,

Watching the deniers gradually grasp the gravity of what we face is like watching people go through the 5 stages of grief.

denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

OK, so the toothpaste thing? - Bargaining.

The 60% of independents is noteworthy.

Independents determine elections.

Accept the poll I just posted, Snowflake.

Fish tank cleaner is not the malaria drug that Trump talked about.

Of course Trump won't take responsibility for his statements even though they were lies. Notice how the medical experts quickly corrected him. Still, consider this evolution in action, especially for Trump voters.

Potassium Chloride is commonly used in lethal injections, Ms. Stretch.

Absolutely. I can't even imagine an adult (not stoned or drunk or mentally impaired or a child eating a Tide pod) ingesting ANY
kind of liquid cleaning substance simply because ONE of the ingredients sounded like or sort of looked like part of a medicine's
name. And, besides THAT, ignoring the ***WARNING!!!!!*** label about "what to do if swallowed".
They walk among us.

The partisans who attempt to blame this on Trump have no shame, and display a level of TDS that is difficult to fathom.

Not a lie at all. A Florida man was saved due to the malaria drug. It has also done wonders overseas. It looks promising as a treatment option, and that's all that Trump said. Trump never said to ingest fish tank cleaner.

How do you know they were lies? Has the drug been tested and ultimately deemed useless in preventing/killing the flu? You don't know, do you? Maybe you should reserve your opinion until the results are in. But then, you're a liberal and your opinions are fact (in your own minds).

Have you issued the same admonishment to Cuomo, because he was hopeful that the drug showed promise as well? Of course not, because you're a fucking piece of shit hack. The President never advised anyone to take anything, only commented that it showed promise. Stop lying.

Top Doctors Join Pennacchio’s Call to Use Hydroxychloroquine to Combat Spread of COVID-19

A recent French peer review study by renowned infectious disease specialist Dr. Didier Raoult which was published in the International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents showed promising results in the treatment of COVID-19 with Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ).

The French study also showed a significant decrease in “viral shedding,” from patients treated with HCQ. The lower the shedding, the less likelihood that the virus can be communicated to other individuals.

Federal and State governments should immediately direct public policy towards increasing production, storage and establishing a distribution protocol and regimen for HCQ to ameliorate the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This was the conclusion reached by U.S. academic studies in response to French infectious disease specialist Dr. Raoult’s peer review study, saying HCQ has a strong potential as a prophylactic measure against the severity of COVID-19.

Trump right again!

The French study consisted of an entire 20 cases. :rofl2:

When you say things, you need to consider the audience to which you are speaking, and their capability for misunderstanding. That's why I am always crystal clear when I say all Trumpkins should die.
