No, but that is when the extreme bitterness, angriness, and deep philosophical investment in stupidity and lies
was democratized across the entire white conservative strata. Fox and Limbaugh perfected the administration of hate
and anger towards the out groups you referenced and causes and issues. There was a time only the elites watched
Firing Line and had a rudimentary understanding of philosophical underpinning of conservative thought, now every Joe
sixpack drops Ayn Rand's name like a talisman despite never having picked up, let alone read a good thick book.

And I will not, unlike your side, make conspiratorially insinuation, i.e. in this case that those high numbers were provided as a politically motivated expectation lowering bar.
They were the result of competing models making assumption based upon guesses as to human behavior and compliance.
 
With shelter in place, we'll spend much less on the money to put in the plastic eggs for the backyard hunt this year.

So you think Trump promulgated the high numbers? I don't.

I don't think anyone believes this is all about Trump. Some people are outraged others are determined to make it not at all about Trump.

Truth is this pandemic could have been handled in a variety of ways. The way it was handled has resulted in 20,000 deaths thus far.
If Trump heeded the warning and took the political hit by shutting down all travel to US, directed social distancing and shelter in place
and shut down consumer brick mortar and work travel only for critical sectors immediately, instead of later, less than 20,000 would have died.

That is a fact the right does not want to admit. In fact will not admit. He was late to making the right call, still hasn't made it, cowardly deferred to
governators and is subject of fair criticism for that.

And not to mention he does his usual fomenting of conspiracy, persecution complex bs and everything else reprehensible that goes with living with the clown as a leader....

I am also hoping that the car insurance companies will bow under pressure and rebate us all some of the premiums we've paid since we're all driving far less.
